Gentlemen,
I'm new to AH, and do not know if this has been discussed before, but I am having trouble with RW and AH audio. When I hit my push to talk button, I'm able to talk but then loose all AH audio. If I alt-tab out
and come back in, the AH audio is fine until I <push to talk > again.
I have tried the usual fixes, starting RW before AH, after AH, and changed different PTT keys, but still no luck.
Any suggestions??
Thanks,
Ash

What version of RW are you using and what key are you using for PTT? You might want to email RW about this. First time I've ever heard of this happening here.

Ash, when you do the test within RW (Talking, then replaying it so you can listen to yourself) how does this come out? Is it garbled or clear? Also, make SURE you have "Voice activated" DISABLED and use a key stroke (mapped to a JS button) for talking. Lemme know if this helps, and again, Welcome to JG2, AH's largest squadron!

It's also a good idea to check to see if your card is full-duplex, or that your drivers are current. You might also be certain to get DirectX 7.0a.

What kind of soundcard do you have?

If all else fails check out the RW support pages, they are great, easy to understand.
They can help you solve most any problem.
If that doesn't do it, leave the RW guys email. I know for a fact that you can't find a better bunch of people anywhere. Tone & the guys are first rate.
