GO ASTROS! Houston leads the series 2-1.
-
St. Louis leads the series...
I think that's what your post said, but you can take it two ways...
Tough for the Cards to average their 5 runs/game if they always hit against Clemens.
-
The Astros are just a speed bump to the World Series for the Cards. I hope! :D
I am pulling for Boston, but it doesn't look good.
It has been a fun year in Cardinal Nation this year.

You bet it doesnt. Yankees 2-1 right now.
Go Yanks!

Cards will come back. Its what they do. Its what they are good at. ;)
-
It was the Boston massacre.
-
Baseball?!? I came here expecting the St. Louis Blues hockey team!!
Cards will still win!
-

Some speedbump. Hope they don't ruin their suspension:D

Cards will be at home for the next game, Morris starting pitcher..........and the Stros might be putting Clemens in? Hehehehe. Its about to tie again. :D
-
The LCS in both leagues has been outstanding this year. Beltran is amazing! The Sox will once again make it close before the hopes of all Boston are dashed on the rocks of despair.
Looks like St. Louis might have listened to the hype a little too much.
-
Yes they have been fantastic. I found myself constantly switching between games last night, checking scores and things of that sort as well as doing gameday for both on mlb.com.
Absolutely fabulous games, even if Boston is winning... :)
Couldn't have asked for better baseball than last night's Yankees-Sox game. 5 hours and 48 minutes of non-stop great ballplaying!

The Astros/Cardinals matchup has almost become a bigger rivalry than any other in Cards history. The last few years have provided superb matchups between the two. Last game's pitching shootout reminded me of the playoff showdown a few years ago ('01 I think? ) vs the Diamondbacks. Morris and Schilling duking it out inning after inning......
I have confidence in Morris to beat out Clemens for the win.

You have to salute Houston. Great series!
Been a great year for the playoffs, just hope the Series is as good.

God Bless Albert Pujols, Jimmy Edmonds and Scottie Rolen!!!! Not to mention Edgar Rentaria and Izzy!! WTFG CARDINALS!!!! Jack Buck and Darryl Kyle are watching boys. Make em proud!
So sick of hearing about the bosox I could puke. People suddenly come out of the woodwork who never watched a game and couldnt have told you more than 2 names of players on the team most of the time now are suddenly BIG fans.
Cardinals didnt have the best record in baseball for nothing!!
BOSOX HERE WE COME!
-
astros fan that is rooting for the cards. Was one hell of a series that no one watched. Classic baseball.
-
Please Cards, beat the ever-loving crap out of the Chowds.
-
It certainly doesnt hurt that the best pitcher that Boston can field ........... Schilling ......... is not only injured but is one the Cards are used to facing from his days with the D-backs. Not that Schilling isnt a great pitcher, he's one of the best in baseball. But then again, so is Clemens. :aok
