They look great Oboe :)

Only thing I'd suggest adding are the horizontal tail wing black ID stripe to HO-M  that were standard at the time they were also wearing full invasion stripes.

Same place as the yellow stripe on your 52nd FG bird.

Thanks Guppy - I added the horizontal tail stripe.  Not sure how to get the skin updated at the Custom SKin site without doing a resubmit tho.

Added a kite for the 325th, I think the Checkertails are the first AH squad to have every plane they flew represented (assuming they all make it in).

UNLESS - can someone get me a scan of Duane Beeson's "BEE" P-51B nose art (not the BOISE BEE P-47 noseart)?   Or ILL WIND?, also a P-51B from the 4th FG?   (ILL WIND also has P-47 nose art that is different from the '51 noseart version).    I played with the alpha masking and got it to work, and I think either of these two green 51Bs would be a good subject.   The only scans I could make are from Osprey's book, and they are so small there is not much detail....

Whatever happened to Machnix?   I love his 51B skin - its perfect.

Send lucull an e-mail with the updated zip and tell him what it is. He'll fix it up for ya, or at least thats what he said he would do If i ran into that problem.

Glad you like it!   Its a kick to see a skin you've done flying around in the arena, for sure.   Been flying that one lately myself.
