Well since I found out that I will not be able to get my Dream puter tell sometime christmas time. I need to get a cheap upgrade for my dell. This is my specs now, celeron 2.4ghz 128mb of shared ram pc 2100 and a 250watt PS  32mb intergrated card.
I am thinking of trying to upgrade to a pentium 4 512mb of ram fx5200 I will keep my dell monitor. Just need something that will hold me out till Late december. Any suggestions on my upgrade?

I understand your pain.

But if your on such a tight budget, i dont know if its worth to get parts now that you will throw away in 2 month.

I have no idea what comp you have, but i guess keeping the cpu and just buy ram and graphic card would get you going in ah2. No guarantee though.

Also you could maybe buy a graphic board and ram that will fit your dream machine later? Its of course not that easy.. have to watch that the card doesnt draw to much current.

Anyway good luck

One thing that we added to our to-do list for 2.01 was to come up with a software solution that would allow AH2 to run on video cards that do not support hardware T&L(transformation and lighting). This is a big issue for us as the el cheapo Intel video commonly used by the big computer builders is not currently able to run AH2. HT has been working on solving this problem without incurring too much of a hit to the look and performance. He’s ready to put it into testing and we’re looking for volunteers who have a system with the Intel video. If you’re interested in testing this for us, please send me an email with your system specs and I’ll send you a test version.
