Now, THAT is flyin'.  :D

Anyone know how to make a terrain that closely resembles the course in Budapest?  It'd make a great arena for the =GHOSTS= air races.

Outstanding.  That flat 180 about 3/4 the way through was jaw dropping.

What do you mean? They DO!

The only plane in AH that comes close to the roll rate of modern aerobatic aircraft is the 190. Take a 190A-5 up and fly it as fast as that plane in the movie and it will respond crisp and exact ... despite being 3 or 4 times the weight.

If I recall correctly, the last version with a flying racecourse on the terrain was WB 1.06 ot 1.07.  Races used to be a fairly common occurrence and it isn't tough to put a few pylons and arrows on the ground near an uncapturable field with no acks on the edge of the map, but I guess the demand wasn't high enough for HTC to keep adding it as a feature to the maps for the last few years.  With the new terrain (tunnels!) and objects, I think a reno-style racecourse and a separate obstacle course including tunnels through hills or mountains would be fun.  It would also make a great H2H or training arena.

People would still run away rather than fight even if they did.

Brings back fond memories, did that type of flying in competition and air shows. Yes  I did get up to 8G's but only momenterily like the pilot in the video.
I sure miss those days.
