Nope...they're yours now....You guys whined about numbers being imbalanced...suffer the consequences.

After all that dang whining about being overrun, and the Rook Hordes, now you cry about them being Knights.
You are kidding right?
Some people just like to complain. It's why Hitech should ignore the crybabies... (who started this thread?)
-
I agree with Jamusta, although i never complained about numbers. Infact i flew nits to combat the 6 on 1 kill competition.
it is a little silly that the nits are so over populated now, i may even have to change sides!!
but that would mean moving a whole squadron of 3 wings, including over 40 pilots!
would do the same to the country we moved to.
Go back to your old countries. they need you. nits dont ;)
JB are most welcome, my K/D has improved no end! :p

Every country has to host the migrating dweeb hoard from time to time... :D

I think this came from last night's Nits Horde Fest. When I logged on there was no ENY balance in effect. As the evening progressed there were fewer and fewer Rooks and Bish, and more and more Nits.
At the end when I logged at 11:00 PM PST, the ENY was at 35.3 for the Nits. The only bombers they could fly were Bostons, SBD, TBM, and JU88.
All the fighters/jabos were ENY 40+. It didn't matter though. Their numbers continued to stay way higher than Bish/Rooks. There was nothing we could do to stop the onslaught. No matter what fighter you took out to fight them with, as soon as you engaged three of them three more at higher alt /e arrived and you were toast.
Nit whining is what caused the ENY balancer, so now you can live with flying the high ENY planes. The sad part is that the ENY balancer had no effect on gameplay, numbers of players in a country always wins by overwhelming the opposition.
The net effect is that the ENY balancer's only effect is to upset the player base and lose players to other games. It does not stop the mass hordes.
The one positive effect: I got to fly a few base defense flights around DMF/Levi. Even though we were always outnumbered, it was amazing to watch him get at least two kills each flight before succombing to the mass of Nits bearing down on us.
So I'll take that trade. Nits can keep the Rook/Bish country horde swappers if Rooks can keep Levi !!
-
Let us get some things straight. This is no way an eny whine. I have no problem getting kills in 205, p47d11, hurriic, and other such planes. I like the eny idea.
I never complained about the numbers. I could care less about being on the short side.
I miss being in the hole. I am finding it harder to find a good fight because the horde is all around.
I am requesting that you high flying hording stinky rooks go back where you came from.....
-
AND STAY OUT!
LMAO.
I never left the Rooks, I have no intention of doing so.... Those that left, I'd welcome back, but I don't care either about the numbers.
The grass always looks greener on the other side. I flew Bish for the first year - then came Rooks. I have no regrets.....horde or not, I can find something to kill :)
-
A few of us went Rooks last night because of the numbers and we were laughing a bit about how things are exactly the same in every country.
The horde is always higher, and the singles always run:)

i love flying for the underdog, thats why i was knight when the numbers where low then and im a rook now. and who knows what tomarow :)
-
Thanks, MOSQ! That was a pretty enjoyable time last night. I think the ENY limiter went a long way toward balancing the effectiveness of the horde despite its numbers. We were doing a pretty decent job of holding them off at that one base until the overall arena numbers fell below the ENY limiter threshold; then the 205s, 190Fs, and Mossies were quickly replaced by La7s, Tiffies, Spits, Doras, and ceaseless formations of B-26s and Lancs.

DMF,
Glad you were having fun. I got tired of no DAR, no supplies to fix damaged bases, and not enough time to get E before the next wave. I logged before the numbers dropped below ENY limiter effect stopped because of overall numbers. I can imagine what happened then.
Talon,
Did you fly with the Buccaneers in Air Warrior?

Come to Bish! Were the ones who need pilots!

Thats just stupid. Perk the the planes you want to restrict. Let people fly what they want, just make them pay a ton for it.

correction on that 1 JB...
but hey, we are all numbers anyway (rolleyes)
-
JB73,
You are correct. I said the JBs because JB42 made it clear it was affecting the squad.
My apologies for labelling your whole squad. I always liked flying around ya'll in Rookland.
I DON'T like flying around you now, it's usually to my demise.
-
sir no offense taken here, always was a pleasure to fly with you, 42 was talking about the possible ramifications to the squad, and sometimes he goes off the handle quick heheh
-
I wouldn't consider what I posted a whine. Looks to me like I posted some facts and stated my opinion and then gave an alt. solution. You have to admit that the ENY being able to get that high is silly. Last night it finally reached 43. So we flew a lot of 109F4s and did pretty well in them. No biggie.

Hey genius, the reason us "high flying hording Rooks" are at 20k, is because a Bish of Knitwit is at 23k. Furthermore, ironically on the JB's behalf, they seem to be at every Knight mass engagement I mean furball. I love irony.

When the Knights have 145, Bish had 86, and the Rooks had 90, it was fine for me, racked up 11 kills in an Ostie with no track before I CTD'd. What do you expect? The Knights and Bishops whined for a change, they GOT the change. Now those who "were Rooks" want to "change it again"?!!!! This is more entertaining than a Four Day Weather Forecast.

the reason JB's left rooks is well known and well stated, lack of respect, and we were literally "told" to leave by a few... why bother staying in that environment?
we have never been for or against the ENY thing outwardly, and have made no whines to which country has huge numbers or whatever.
now that we are knights we are seeing the ENY effect us as a squad more than it did while we were rooks.
JB42 choose to point that out, and say also:

you can say all you want to about us karaya, thats a reason we are no longer rooks.

I flew Bish last night and Rook the night before. I'd been flying Knight, but go where the low numbers are.
One thing stands out. The horde is always higher, the single aircraft always run, there are good guys on each team.

Jammy.....Karaya's buttons get pushed easily....but in his defense, you guys asked for help, you have it and now you don't want it. Tell you what, how bout I just sit on the runway and give you easy kills...that way you can't complain about not getting kills, having to fly inferior planes, or that I'm flying higher than you.
-
Goth,
I didnt ask for help. I get enough kills. I fly inferior planes, superior planes I dont care. My problem is trying to fly to a fight with the rooks, heading to their base at around 8 - 12k, get to the base just to find that whole time they have been circling grabbing alt over their own darn base and they are at 20k. WHY???? Meet me half way at 20k atleast. Thats why I fight bish more... They are willing to do that much.
-
Dude, you're lying to yourself if you think rooks are the only ones that do that. Flew last night against knights and saw them doing it. Night before I refused to go above 12k....buddy warned me about a high p38 over his own base I said "pellik will just have to come down if he wants me".
It's not isolated or one country only issues so get over it. I would almost bet you yourself have done it.

I don't think Rooks as a whole gave the JB's a lack of respect. I would say that the majority gave you guys alot of respect. I would never allow a few idiots (which all sides have) persuede me to leave or change countries. But that's just me. To change just for a change of pace, I have done it in the past and will probably do it again in the future.
-
Goth,
I am sure others fly at 20k. I am not saying that isnt the case. Yes I have been that high. During missions, chasing bombers or AFK. I have never ever upped from a base and simply circled and climbed over the base until I was 20k. This seems to be rook doctrine. I have been on the deck in a fight with rooks who were willing to fight and were outnumbered just to see a horde of high flying rooks in 190's (seems to be rook favorite ride) fly pass and not engage so they could go to knit base and vulch.... Said to self, "self now you see why JB's left rooks dont you?"
-
Don't know why, but I guess I have taken things like "rook doctrine" personally when I know that not to be the case. I guess rooks are just the gamers to end all gaming. We're the ones that developed horde mentality ala borg. We invented low level hvy bombers and now we have invented the infamous climb to 20k above own base.
Well hell...since we're admitting things, I guess Al Gore DID invent the internet.

No ofense, but saying that Rooks fly 20K over there base is some sort of Rook doctrine is the most ignorant statement one could make. Saying any 1 country does a certain thing more than the others is plain silly. I have come into Knit and Bish bases 1000's of times to see 20K+ enemy over there own base. As for the statement about fighting low Rooks while a horde of 190s fly by to continue on to the enemy base to vulch, another silly statement. Could be they think the Rooks below have the situation under control and there help is not needed. Or maybe there on a mission, or maybe they want to push the fight to the enemy base before the enemy pushes the fight to there own base. Could think of a ton of reasons for there actions based on what you stated. I to have seen the same situation as a Rook low fighting knits or bish to see a ton of the enemy fly by. I'm sorry, but there seems to be alot of these types of statements from people saying a certain country does this or that, when in reality all 3 countries are basically the same when it comes to having dweeby fliers doing dweeby things. Think you may want to stop talking to SELF, cause I'm not to sure he knows what he is talking about. Don't think JB's left because a bunch of 190s flew past a low fight to go vulch a field. What I have heard it was nothing to do with that.

Well I guess I'll be ignorant then. I have flown for bish. I left bish because they give up on a fight to easily, but they atleast try. I fly knits now and they are the most unorganized bunch of wacky furballers I have ever seen. But they fight. Rooks....Hmmm well since I refuse to join them I cant say what its like on the other side. But from fighting against them for going on 4 years and having squadies that flew with them I can say that the majority of them have been the most organized yet very passive and timid alt hording 190 pile-its in the game.

Genius, I'm more calm that you guaranteed. Sometimes the truth is hard to accept. I fly the G-6, Spit 1, La-5, Yak U or FW 190 a-8. I'm unaffected by the enemy factor. But I laugh at the whines by those who wanted "a change". Irony sucks, deal with it.

Well from what i've seen the excess Rooks went Knit so now there is an overflow of Knits Is there somthin wrong with being Bish??? I've been Bish for 2 years now and have found nothin wrong with em for the most part. I found myself a good squad (Birds Of Prey) and have had a great time.
Maybe being a BISH just don't sound as cool as being a ROOK or NIT? If that's the prob get over it, it's just a name.
Oh and I havent had a single problem with the eny limiter the few times it has hit bish I just find that its a good challenge to compleat my objective with a different plane than what I had origanally intended on taking.
Any way just want to say I think we bish would welcome some extra players so come on over. And if you think bish don't have enuf teamwork ask for the B.O.P.'s I'm shure we'll fly with ya even if ya arn't in the squad.
And there are probablly some other squads with simmilar thaughts.

Can we get a whINe limiter installed ??
-
You dont like the CT and now your whining about the MA. Time for an X-box maybe?
-
Karaya,
Find a post where I wanted change. I simply requested the over flow of rooks that shifted to knight to go back to where they came from. The numbers are unbalanced and those that didnt want to change can now go back. This started out in good humor and had nothing do to with eny or any other whine. But as per usual you feel the need to play almighty on the bbs and open your suck and say something.
Did you get picked on alot in your earlier years? Do you want to talk about it? Do you need a hug? Really I want to help you get over your aggressions. Maybe I can get you a new mirror and a bottle of lotion since you seem to get off on yourself so much.
Uh Oh, I must be quiet now, the elite CT folks are now making comments.

There is a simple and easy fix for you - just switch countries. I have been flying bish lately, has been fun.

Zanth,
I flew with bish when I first started. My problem with them was they would leave a fight the moment it looked like they were going to lose the advantage. Typical sortie for me was upping at a base under attack. Up, fight, kill, die, up. Then after a few moments I would notice that the numbers of friendlies would drop. Then what started out as many bish would end up being just 4 maybe 5. The rest would leave to go attack an undefended base. I do miss the bish missions though.
-
I've been here over 4 years and have flown with all the countrys and IMHO they all do the same things.......30k alt monkeys.....500 foot saturation bombing runs etc.....and it was frustrating to be around the horde when the horde was rook :p
