All
Last night when the "fog" went away in the CT my frame rate jumped for about 23-25 to 31+. WOW, it was just like the old days. ZOOOOOOOMMMMM!
I can see again!
Reschke, You da man!

Yep the fog was set at 7.5 miles in the setup initially and I moved it to the maximum which is 17.0 miles. Glad it helped you guys out.
-
Yeah, thanks. :D
Something to bear in mind for each setup. It wouldn't surprise me to find that quite a few CTer's have lower end systems, which might be why some fly CT rather than MA - due to smaller action, less FPS hit, etc. etc.
ironically, the fog is supposed to "help" fps, but....

I am finding that I get freeze ups when I am coming in on a B-17 formation... I don't know if the object has been altered or maybe something else, but I know I don't have a low end computer... at least I hope not.
I had a lot of lag last night... planes firing on other planes and them being in front of the plane they are firing on. Usually I have a constant frame rate of 75. Maybe I need more tweeking...

Yea,
I can say that when I'm flying my F-86! What a cool plane.

Strange, my FPS went down around 10 with visibility at 17 miles vs 7 miles. I'm running an ATI 9700 pro. Anyone explain?

I took a hit as well,
