Brothers in Arms (BiA) comes out quarter 1 of 2005. It is a WWII First Person Shooter. And as realistic as it can get. Here are a few screenshots....stunning and amazing....
WOW

Yes, I plan on getting it. There were some videos posted a couple of months back. It looks very impressive.

Try this... http://www.brothersinarmsgame.com - Check out both the screenshot section and video section. A new video was added, dont know how long ago but its 136mb of 14mins and some odd seconds of gameplay footage introducing the Situational AI system.
It shows 4 video's however the first three are the same (Low, Medium, and High resolution) The last one has the goods =) =) =)

Be a true patriot : boycott French products !

I bought Forgotten Battles right when that topic first came up.
Around the same time as the whole Freedom Fries fiasco.
One of the clerks asked me if I knew UBISoft was French, I told him "Yup, and would you believe it - the company that made the game is Russian!"
People are so easily talked into stupidity, it dumbfounds me.

Bah, I am sure it will be fun, but the war was not only D-Day.
We need a good FPS based in the Pacific!
-
Bah... I'm tired of the whole Band-of-Brothers rip-off genre. The war was not won on one day and the whole D-Day thing is boring now.
My most wanted game has to be a Combat Mission game with an updated graphics engine and a dynamic campaign. Maybe one day we'll see that
-
Looks as if I'll have to get a new pc.
-
Looks good but I just wonder which movie are they going to ripoff.

I'm really looking forward to Day of Defeat in source and what the game will evolve into.

bf1942 was the last decent game in the ww2 fps genre, now that theyves sucked it dry for the past 2 years, youd expect them to come up with something better.
-
Nah, bf42 sucked, it was less than decent. Call of Duty was Decent and UO (the exp for CoD was "cool")
They aren't going to rip it off any movie... If you watch the video they are historically basing it on a certain squad of actual soldiers. Is it based around D-Day? yes. Do many wish there was a pacific campaign? I'll bet the shirt off my back that many would like a pacific campaign. But they didn't make it that way so live with it. If you watch the video you will find it is very realistic. Even down to the cinematic stuff in the background aswell as the general textures and gameplay. The sights on the M1 and MG42 look awesome - very realistic - alot better than Call of Duty. Even though the game is based around the European Theater, I still believe it will have many goodies and suprises for everyone. I am very interested to get some info and watch some in-game video's about the multiplayer :aok

Medal of Honor Pacifc Assault isn't too bad. Its a Pacific based game, obviously, and has some pretty good graphics. So good that I can barely get it to run at 800x600 resolution on my PC.

IIRC, the game is based on a specific company in the first few days following the landings. They use the guys real names and all that jazz.
There is a nice trailer floating around somewhere - the game is on my buy list.
