Title: AH20010T20011.EXE doesn't work on my Dell laptop

I had been suffering because my laptop machine can't run AH2 due to lack of hardware T&L.

Then....

I met the news with unimagineable rejoicing.....

My powerful DELL laptop might (again) be able to run Aces High, which it hasn't been able to do since the demise of AH Classic.

I downloaded and installed AH20010T20011.EXE  

Unfortunately, it does not work. AH just "hangs" after painting about half of the initial splash screen.

Dell Inspiron 5100 with 2.4 Ghz P4 and ATI Mobility RADEON 7500 display adapter.


GRrrrrrrr...... (this machine runs most everything else, but not AH2). I hope this is fixed eventually. I'd really like to use this Dell machine for AH2 during my many road trips.

DISREGARD!

I got it working. I deleted both of the *.cfg files in the setup directory to force it to set up video again. Then I turned OFF the radio button that asks about hardware vertex processing, and that seemed to make the required difference.

I've only flown it for 60 seconds or so (offline), but the framerate was very good (above 50 on the runway) and it looks like it's going to work.

Yeppers! It works just fine, with excellent framerates.

Im having the same problem ,,,,,
Is there any chance of a complete walkthrough on what you did, i havent gotta clue !
