Title: Perk Points...

I never cared to look, but I assume the only place to see your perk points total is in your Hangar when selecting a vehicle.

Question is, what must one do to earn perk points? What yields the most points? The least?

You want to pick a plane with a high ENY rating if you want to get perk points fast.  The C205, 109F4, and 190A5 are good picks.  They are not great planes to fly fly by yourself in, so you want to try to fly with a couple other people nearby.  LA7s,N1Ks, and Spits will be even more dangerous to you, because those 3 planes are not fast, and do not turn particularly well.  You want to try to engage with an altitude advantage if you can.  The C205 is probably the most 'survivable' of the three, although I favor the 190A5.
