Title: What will the surprize be in 2.01?

There is always a surprise A/C thrown in every new major release of AH.

I would guess that it is in the same "ends in 4" theme as the rest of the release.

My guess is KI-44.

The only surprise units I can recall ever happening were the P-47D-40, P-47D-25 and Spitfire Mk XIV.  What others are you thinking of?

I remember when the P47 came out, it accidently had 16 guns instead of 8 lol.  Got to fly it for about 8 hours before they disabled it.

Karnak,

Either the F4U-4 or -1. I think it was the -4. But there have been many others. We usually get at least one more than the screenies they release.

Hmm.  I honestly don't recall getting units not previously shown in screenies other than the three I mentioned and, now that you mention it, the F4U-4.

I definately recall seeing the F4U-1 in a pre-release screenshot.

It's odd that we have different memories of this.

Funny thing I thought everyone would think what I was thinking. I'm half brain dead usually so I am probably thinking about my breakfeast at Denny's and got it mixed up with Aces High.

i doubt there will be a suprise..

but if there is - smart money is on an early P-38 i think.  P38tards been asking for one for ages, pyro (i think) admitted he was gonna do one and it would fit in with TOD theme.

The surprise is that it'll have an ENY of "4" so only Rooks and Bishops get to fly it.
