Id never want to annoy anyone here with my personal problems.  Thats why I did it on another board.  Seriously though, Ive had to put up with some pretty outragous stuff the past couple years.  I was at this forum on a different subject, when I decided to post my story to make a point.  It seemed readable so here it is (http://www.divorcesource.com/ubbthreads/showflat.php?Cat=&Number=3693&page=0&view=collapsed&sb=5&o=&fpart=1#3693) for anyone that gives a hoot :rolleyes: or is just tired of political banter.

tough deal but you are never going to get her to pay the money back. best thing to do is get something on her. like she too depressed for work but she can party. dont worry about the kids you have them and thats the most important thing. you cant put a price on that. in time the kids will learn all about their mother. they will learn what a POS she is. i know i did. i grew up in a simular situation.

Yea, I dont dwell on it.  Wrote the $ off long ago.  Its still in the back of my mind when we are scraping to get by, and consider how different it would be if if wasnt for gender.  I cant see a guy getting away with that.

bigsky I hope you're right.  After all she fooled me for several years ;) till i caught on.

Are you raising two kids by yourself man?  That is pretty frigging admirable.  I you for that.  That has GOT to be tough.

I got custody of my 2 girls from my 1st marriage. I still rank that as the best fight I ever won. Don't ever give up.

Yep, the kids were 2 and 4 when she spilt.  They're 8 and 10 now.  Thankfully my mom lives nearby and she can pick them up from school while Im working and generally help out.  The kids mom lives a couple hours away.  

The kids delayed my last post by a half hour by dragging me out to look at the lunar eclipse several times :)
