If the presidential election were starting over again, and the Democrats could run either Kerry/Edwards or Gore/Lieberman, which pair do you think would do best against Bush/Cheney?

Lieberman/Kerry.

Lieberman had a better shot than Kerry but he was too moderate for the left. After 8 years of Clinton they were too spoiled to compromise. Now they will have to suffer through 4 more years of Bush and it's their own damn fault. I'm just hoping they can be conned... er.... convinced that Hillary has a real shot in '08.
-
I'm just not sure about this Hillary in 8 years idea. Her baby boomer butt will be 65 in 8 years.
I can see it for a guy to become Prez at that age, but while some Americans may find themselves ready to elect a female, I'm not sure Grandma is what they'll have in mind.

Hey, one quick trip to Rio, a little time in a clinic and
New Hillary

Hillary is going to become a Canadian?
-
Back in the day... One trip to the bar, about a hundred shooters later, and EVERY CHICK became 'new Hillaries'. Way cheaper, and local too! :)
-
Why not? Nash is almost an American. ;)

I would vote Liberman or McCain before Kerry or Bush.
Hell, Liberman/McCain or McCain/Liberman would have my vote upon pain of death.
-
If Hillary looked like the slutty wench in Toad's picture, the unthinkable would happen--she would be even LESS desirable as President--something I previously thought impossible.

I'd vote for almost anyone but Hillary above any of the 6
Gore/Leiberman, Bush Cheney, or Kerry Edwards.
-
I'd rather see G/L running then K/E

That's hilarious, I remember when the mid-term election thingy happened in the US Republicans were saying that the Dems actually had to stand for some thing instead of compromising all the time.

The Democrats stand for a lot of things, many of which I disapprove. Anyhow, you never heard me say that but you may have heard me say before the Democrats picked a candidate that Lieberman was the only of the batch that I'd consider voting for.
-
I was always a bit confused, as a republican, why Lieberman didn't get more serious consideration from the Dems. Out of lack of input from the Dems, I had to assume there were so many whackos in the party that Kerry appealed to the majority.

That's cool I was just making a grand sweeping generalisation and applying it to you.
Make that, "some Republicans".

I'm still swinging for Elizabeth Dole.

Honestly I hoped Dean would get the nomination.
