I would take you up on the offer because there isn't one damn store in Northern VA that has it in, even though their computers say they do, BUT I have no way to pay you other than check and I just plain don't trust buying anything over the internet from even e-bay.

Not saying I don't trust you, I don't trust anyone.

If you haven't payed IL2/FB/AEP at all (online especially) and you just bought PF (there's no dedicated server patch for PF yet) how do you know you don't like it?

From offline? The offline missions and campaigns that ship with the box are crap and always have been. DGEN sucks arse, get DCG...

There's plenty of other 3rd part Mission and campaign genrators

When others do stuff like buy a game and claim 'its not for them' without even giving it a try 9 times out of 10 they just burnt themselves a copy and are trying to dump the original and get their money back.

Maybe the game doesn't play well for you...

Who knows, but most folks don't even have it yet and just seems kinda fishy that you would want to get rid of it before the first patch or before the rest of the world has a chance to get it loaded up.

Honestly I wouldn't have bought PF at all with out FB/AEP. I don't care for Pac stuff but I will need to get future patches for FB. That and the reduced muzzle flash is the onlyu reason I bought it.

I am just trying to figure out how after, what 2 or 3 days, one decides to get rid of it.

YMMV...

As a matter of fact  the 1st DGEN fix is up

http://www.3dgamers.com/dlselect/games/pacificfighters/dgenbeta311.zip.html

Quote
Here's the full readme from it

Whats new:

1. Iwo, Chichi, Okinawa, Wake operations added to USMC career.
2. New Guinea aded to USAAF career.
3. Midway removed as USAAF operation.
4. Some plane choices are changed.
5. P-38 can be used in Japan 1945 operation

Some of fixes and improvements in this version:

1. Wrong objects in final missions in case of PF stand alone install
2. Wrong airfield in New Guinea
3. Crashes in mountains in New Guinea.
4. Crash in second Midway mission when using Hard campaign difficulty
5. Collisions of Rufe at Iwo when using High Air Intensity
6. Wrong objects on some maps.
7. Guadalcanl NGen campaign did not work when selecting Hellcats as bombers.
8. Occasional start on water when moving to Iwo map
9. Text corrections

Attention:
This is a public beta version of DGen

It would be like some one downloading AH2 today then uninstalling it tomorrow with out just waiting to see waht 2.01 would bring...

The last Ubisoft game I bought was Lock-On...and I *still* cant get that thing to work with my X-45 throttle/stick.

Are the other Ubi-games better?

Call me crazy, I just want something that doesnt require brain surgery to work with my flight controllers

I spent way too many man hours trying to get my cougar setup to work with Lockon before I finally traded it in at EB.

As much as I'd like to run out and buy PF, I think I'm going to wait and see if any other cougar owners are able to get it working first.

IL2/FB works great with my X45/CH Pro Ped combo

I use both a Saitek profile and in game commands(assigning axis through game interface for rudder, trims, etc)

actually have been getting as much enjoyment, if not more, out of online FB than AH2...but you need a box much heavier to push it than you do AH2

LePaul, UBIshaft is just the publisher. LOMAC (Lock On) was made by someone else other than 1C/Maddox. 1C/Maddox is the creator of the Il2 series.

Setting up joystick axii(or whatever) and binding keys is very easy.

PM me over to CheckSix on how, I cant even get my throttles to show up as an axis (the knobs show, for some odd reason)
