Im sure they are 100 pounders, but it would be cool if they were 1k's
-
They were, it said B10. 1000lbs are B100. But, 24 is more than I expected.

I did note that, though I'm not sure what the use of that loadout is.
How many were you expecting?

20. You read my post in the thread by Pyro about bomb racks. Everything I was expecting is in that thread.
It would be great for leveling a town. Make one pass with 12 on half of the town, make another pass on the other half. It could end up doing quite a bit of damage.
-
So Dive Bombing B24's are going to take over from the Lanc's for a few weeks?

Yes I read it, but I was too lazy to look it up again.
As to the towns, I'm afraid not. 100lbers are too small. I found that out when I tried using the 50kg (110lb) bombs on the Ki-67. You need at least 100kg bombs to be effective against towns, cities and factories.

Gixer, you are so full of positive energy!!!
How's Pfunk?

It means getting to pretend to be guys like this, in some small way. I'm not a buff driver, but this one I'll fly.
Lt. Al Brody, 736 BS, 454th BG, 15th AF, KIA by a flak burst in the cockpit, February 14, 1945 while bombing the oil refinaries at Floridsdorf, Austria, just northwest of Vienna.

Cool, that's 4 bombs more of a bit smaller size than the Ju88 carries in addition to the big ones on the wings...

Anton, you can eat where you like and I'm sorry that this restaurant didn't suit you, metaphorically speaking. However, that doesn't mean you can stand in the lobby and rail against the food to the other patrons. That will just get you kicked out of places.

The screenshot was taken on one of the art boxes that didn't have a current version of everything. It was just using a B-17 loadout, the actual release version has 20 as depicted in the photo of the chart you posted.

heh told you guys it would be halloween weekend.
Trick or treat
course if it isnt this weekend it will be more on the trick side then treat LOL

Those are propeller feathering push buttons, and they don't do anything in the game. sorry :)
-
was hoping Pyro would tell us if any of these new planes will be perked. ???
(i lost my perks when i had to suspend my account for 1 week -- think it would be a shame to not be able to fly either of the new birds when they're released)
thank you for the news, btw! :)
-
Hmmm....
Since both superfly and pyro have popped out of mission control to comment here I'm assuming that everything is done with the new release....otherwise back into the dungeon both of you...:D

LMFAO humble!!!!
T-Bolt, you closed account for 1 week? just curious why? there are times i dont fly for 2 weeks because real life gets in the way, but i keep the account going because i know i will be back flying soon.

I resolved to take care of more important RL issues; so, I put my account on hold ("for about a month or two"). On Friday of the first week, I saw a show about the P-51 on the History Channel...couldn't handle the withdrawals anymore....signed up the next day. :lol
I wish I hadn't lost all my perks. O well, gives me something to fly for. hehe
I'm just hoping the Ki-84 and Liberator aren't perked. :o :(
-
I've always felt you should get perks for signing up or on a monthy basis. I never really used em (burned em last time since I joined AK's)...had 600 something in 6 weeks or so but its tough for newbies to get enough to use. Rather see rolling perks where you get 1000 a month or something and they reset...
-
T-Bolt,
I wouldn't expect the Ki-84 or B-24 to be perked. I am absolutely certain the B-24J and T-34/76D will not be perked. I'd be very surprised if the Ki-84 was perked.

I hope so, sir. I hope so. :)

There's still time yet Mitsu. It is only 2:30PM in Texas right now. It may yet make it out today.
I'm still hoping.

I'd be surprised to see HT put out a major release on a Friday afternoon. Especially on a weekend when I'm sure much of the staff has plans (i.e. Halloween parties and so on). I'll be happily surprised if I'm wrong, of course.
If it's not today, I'd say either Monday or Wednesday next week. Next Tuesday will be an Internet nightmare with everyone bashing on it to get election results - and some segment of the AH population will be in a foul mood.

Yea, all the Bush-lovers (at least 95% of the O'Clubers) will be disappointed and uncomfortably numb from the shock 'n awe of Bush's loss. Doh! ;) :D

Perhaps my referrence to the food metaphore initially created by HiTech was a bit over the top, But then I have never been one to just let things drop. (hey, that even rhymes:D )
What I was trying to state in my sarcasm, was that I dont feel the game currently suffers from a lack of bombers or bomber cockpit art. I dont think more planes & new graphics will be the cure for whats causing so many long term players to hang it up.
I have also decided to take a break from the BBS until after the holidays. Till my scheduled return in 2005, In closing, I would like to say that I wish that everyone finds what they want from HTC, & that HTC proffits accordingly for providing what the customer wants.
Now lets all Eat, Drink & be MERRY! Happy Holidays!! :aok
