Depends on what you can afford.  With ATI putting out the x800 and Nvidia releasing the 6800 series cards, top of the line last-gen stuff that is more than sufficient to play AH2 is under 200 bucks, in many cases its on sale for even cheaper.  I got my 5900 GeForce on sale for 149 bucks, and that was before the 6800 was released even.

6800 or 6800GT are nice.  some company (best buy maybe) had a sale on BFG 6800OC for under $300 after $50 in-store rebate, a pretty darn good deal.  Dunno if the deal is still on though.
