And they are getting payed way to much, for how little they do, I mean, we don't hear of Ref training camps...

Hawklore, NFL refs work their way up thru the ranks starting with Pop Warner. Most Refs have 15-20 years experience before they reach the NFL.

Having said that...yeah, they usually suck.

Electoral-vote.com has kerry ahead right now but barely

Kerry 283   Bush 246

  Strong Kerry (95)
  Weak Kerry (101)
  Barely Kerry (87)
  Exactly tied (9)
  Barely Bush (17)
  Weak Bush (82)
  Strong Bush (147)
 Needed to win: 270

More than one of the talking head shows said there was a strong possibility of an electoral tie. If so, it goes to the House of Representatives where Bush would surely win.:(

Just depends upon which site you go to, I guess, although this one seems better than the other.

There's a big difference in the polls they used, apparently. More than likely seeing what they want to see.

Ahh. Electoral-vote uses Rasmussen...Zogby...Zogby? I've heard you'd do better by reading chicken entrails than relying on Zogby for an accurate prediction. BUT...Tuesday's turnout is what's going to make all the difference. I wonder how many people may decide that day not to fight the traffic and stand in line because they're already pretty sure their man will win their state?

Yes but the Vice President pick goes to the senate and Edwards would have the best shot there. Hmmmmm I wonder what that would be like, Bush/Edwards.

Would have to agree if they are to be considered accurate predictors.

buyt on the other side. If the sox can win the world series after 80 some odd years that prediction streak can be ended also LOL

Maybe, Maybe not.
Either way we all loose.

there is no way anyone in their right mind can actually think we would be any better with one over the other.

And I think few people can honestly say they really LIKE their man. Who here would not rather see two other people running instead of these two?

The primary thing in this campaign is not the issues. Not really.
Its dislike. Its who most people will dislike less
Unless your a diehard Republican or Democrat that is. Then it wouldnt matter who was running you would vote your party

there are  few who really are voting on the issues and the actual facts there of But those are few and far between even here. And that goes for the right as well as the left.

Its really those that hate Bush against those that hate Kerry.
