What program should i use to open the RES files?

You don't open the RES file.

What are you looking to do exactly?

The .res file is what you've created when you build your map and goes in this location C:/progam files/HTC/Aces High II/ahiiterr. this might explain your trouble in the other post but if you haven't placed it in that location then how could you have tried to open your map in h2h?
