Title: Calling all Omega Driver Gurus

My basic machine setup is:
eMachine laptop running AMD 64 bit chipset
512 Mem
ATI Mobility Radeon 9600/9700

for AH2 I port the display over to a 19" Viewsonic

OK, I downloaded/installed the Omega drivers and get a pretty good (60-70) FR. My question concerns all the bells & whistles the Omega CP provides. Any recommendations on the best settings for the game? I believe the MB supports 4x 8x AGP

Overall the display's crisper than I got running a Dell P4 1.8 Ghz with a Radeon 9800 Pro 128 meg card...just wanna tweak it to it's full potential :)

Max,

One step at a time, write down on a piece of paper what setting you changed, what it was set to. Reboot, restart AH, note performance & quality.

At least then if you have problems you'll be able to figure it out.

Omega drivers are already specifically tweaked for performance. If you change anything for either image quality or performance, you change the work for optimum performance and image quality that were put into the drivers.

There's only three settings you can change without losing the best image quality for the best performance - that's anisotropic filter, full screen anti-aliasing, and vsync on or off. Anisotropic will give a performance impact for not so much of a visual gain.
