Seeing as we got the very first prototype Ki-84 from early 1943 modeled I am not willing to fly it against F4Us.
The N1K2-J is faster than the Ki-84.
Sorry guys. Maybe if they model an F4U to it's first prototype specs.

The 8 pm Patch is supposed to have fixed this, I think. Let us know, Karnak.

I was talking about the speed as Pyro intended. I was also exagerating due to my frustration with getting the absolute worst possible Ki-84 that they could have modeled. It is the same speed as the N1K2-J at sea level and a bit faster up higher. Only sea leavel matters in this game. The N1K2-J manuvers vastly better and has much better firepower.
The Ki-84 is completely outmatched by the F6F-5, let alone the F4Us.
They gaves us the early 1943 first prototype to use as a service aircraft.

Your not going to be diving after many 'Cats or Hogs either, the Ki84's wings rip off staggeringly easily. I am going to give the thing a bit more time before I declare it stillborn, but I must admit that it seems rather underwhelming at this point.
Late war Pac setups wont be any better than they were before if my first impression of the Ki84 stands the test of time.

The Ki84 that the dynamic duo modelled is indeed stillborn. I guess I'll just be doing other things during the Pac weeks.

Just pray you dont see him running around the CT in those tights man. Storch is scary enough without the hooded cape and tights.
