Title: Ki84 flap deploy speed

In my quick test the first notch of flaps came out at about 160-165mph.

Somehow I was under the imprssion that these were special combat flaps that could be used at rather higher speeds.

What do the Ki84 experts say?

I've never seen a speed listed for their deployment, but I understood they were to be used in combat as combat flaps.

Guess I was wrong about a lot of stuff.:(

It's correct.

From Ki-84 Flight Manual:

The speed limit of flap at each angles:
   15�‹�F270km/h (167mph)
   30�‹�F250km/h (155mph)
