Not all news agencies have the same sources?
Skynews: 249/207
Abc: 249/207
CNN: 249/200
BBC: 249/221
Fox: 269/211

Dude, quit smoking.

Some networks hold off some of the numbers so it will seem closer than it really is.
They also hold off calling state winners even though the #s show a clear winner.
I'll let you figure out why.

ABC has it at 269/211 right now.

Just realize that it's mostly conjecture. The news organizations call the races before the votes are all in to be the first one to report the winner.
Of course, a 5+ point lead after 95% of precincts have reported gives you a pretty good idea of whats going to happen.

So where's Badnarik?
-
He's home, curled up with a bottle of Mexican imported scotch and a big fat blunt.

I saw California declared for Kerry with only 33% of the precincts reporting in.
I think they should have to wait until it is mathematically impossible for one candidate to win before declaring a winner in any state.

No doubt Arnold's influence has swayed some of the vote, but It's still a Democratic stronghold.
