Hiya all.
Well, it is pretty obvious how this will turn out, so congratulations Republicans.
It isn't what I would have picked, but it is what the American people have picked.
I hope the next four years go well for America.
all.

thank god Hanoi lost...
ALLAH ACKBAR!!!!!

I don't expect Kerry to concede until sometime Wednesday, if then. I'm betting on a full blown challenge, and a recount of 10-14 days.
But thanks.
As a side note, my condolences on the KI84. Maybe they'll give you a version with a little more power. Hang in there.

karnak... you are one of the kerrie supporters that had a little class.

Thanks, Karnak. Now that all the "unpleasantness" is behind us (well, soon to be behind us, anyway), we can perhaps get back to the business of life.
BTW, for what it's worth, I like the Ki-84. Seems historically correct to me.

Thanks guys.
The only request I have is to keep the politics in here or on channel 200 and off channel 2.:D

Karnak.....
Just watch the Bush of his Texas days immerge....he'll fight for you too.
Humility and some healing is what we need now....thanks for the congrats and btw, you'll be the benefactor of some sound policy changes in the years to come as well:)

I hope so Rude. We have some pretty bitter memories of his first four years here in California due to the whole energy fubar. It wasn't his fault by any means, but his response to it felt like we were being snubbed for how we voted in 2000.
Maybe gas prices will go down. I just filled up at $2.299 per gallon for 87 octane, and that's the cheapest spot I know in Marin.
Now I am nervously waiting to hear if Marin County's transit sales tax passed or not. If it didn't (and I doubt that it did) I may be looking for work very shortly as the busses and paratransit in Marin may all get shut down. Lots of fun for me this election

Boy, what are we going to talk about in the OClub now that the election is done? :p

I wish ya the best...btw...blame China for high oil prices....I just placed an order for steel for a shopping center I'm building....prices are rising daily due to China's consumption of steel....oil is in the same shape.

Congradulations to Bush.
:D

Yay. I just heard that Marin County's Measure A, a half cent sales tax, passed with 73 percent of the vote (needed 66+%) and that means I still have a job.
It has never come close to passing in the past, so I wasn't very hopeful. A lot was hinging on it though as Sacramento basically was saying "If you don't care enough to pay for public transportation, then we don't care to help with your public transportation.", but now that we passed the tax Sacramento will help a bit in addition to the money the tax raises.
