McCain will run if his health stays good
-
next election one could only hope both candidates are *******s. Since i will be voting to, they better not be *******s. McCain and Guiliani would get my vote.
-
Who is ruddy?
-
Hillary will not get the DNC nomination for 08. Everyone knows she is a lightning rod.
You hear it here first...08 DNC the nominee will be Gov Bill Richardson of NM.
-
Why not Powell?
-
Do you really think the GOP will nominate a pro-choice candiate? (serious question)

by 2008 Edwards will be a trivia question.
-
Actually, picking up John Edwards as VP was worse than choosing Kerry to start with. Edwards won't be Presidential candidate.
However, I'd rather see Colin Powell run for president.
-
Are you guys starting up for the 08 election already?
please Pyro.... GIVE THESE GUYS A POLITICAL FORUM :aok

No law. Gore ran for presdinet another time even before 2000.

We'll see won't we:)

I am betting the edwards as a trivia question is right on target.
Three reasons.
A: He is getting some of the blame for the loss, because he is a slimey lawyer who couldn't even bring his own state let alone help in any other way.
B: He is out of office and out of any spot light.
C: He is part of a losing team. America hates losers.

Americans don't like losers...Gore lost...Kerry lost...they are damaged goods and would not get enough support to run.
-
NILSEN FOR 2008 PRESIDENT!!!!! :aok

No limit to how many times a person runs, Nader ran this time, at least the second in a row.
I think if they get beat, they dont want to go through it again. Its a brutal process.

If he runs....., he has my vote.
-
Hillary won't be selected. She's unelectable given the current climate. Giuliani won't run. Whether it's a Republican or Democrat next time depends entirely on just what GWB does with his four years.

If I recall Powell stated he would never run for President back in 1991. His wife has "Depression", he stated that if he ran, he could not take, or put her through the barrage of personal attacks.
He'd be a great one though.
Karaya
I'll make the wager that Hillary doesn't even run.

Nixon lost in August '74

I think he means that Nixon lost to Kennedy but came back to win in '68.
I get your point Pongo, but this isn't the 60's anymore. American attitudes have become far more impatient in the last 40 years.

Obviously, but he ended up a bigger loser in the end.
-
Well at least he didn't get his brains blown apart in Texas?
-
Well one thing for sure, Giuliani won't play the fidelity card.
-
OK if you guys are going to argue about this for the next 4 years I am goin to......well...not do anything...I just think it's dumb ;)
