Wow PETA lunatics are some of the best lunatics areond and they were out in force this election, Here are some opf the "choicest cuts" from their board....
"salutations holiests healing life peace,
fellow people agree yahoo is a bunch of drunks.
they broadcast bush won because kerry conceded.
like what child wants to go to war & be killed? none. but pro war bush will send your children to die for him so he can be rich off of their death.
declare anarchy in the u.s.a., that no one in their sound mind would vote for war. the news is run by alcoholics whom also operate yahoo. they drink & drink & drink, & i know for
i used to have to clean up their mess, now they have to clean it up, but can't so die till they can't drink alcohol & war & send innocent youth to die so they can party some more drunk.
where is animal rights people going to make a stand & say its a lie, bush won nothing but the middle finger pointed at him for being used to abuse us.
bush is anti animal rights, the right to be killed is what bush is all about, with the military the worse of all animal abusers. exploding bombs on animals, torturing them to improve their weapons. go freak out & see what the military does to animals in experimentation, before they do it again & again & again. only you can vote no to the military.
wake up people & don't let the enemy pollute our air waves by saying bush won, he lost & he lost 4 years ago.
any dictator can march & send a military to conquor a nation & that is whats happening.
i think bush is really mexican & fooling everyone that he is of the u.s.a. i say he is a phoney. he is not of the u.s.a. but here to exploit us.
blessings of holiests helaing life peace 4 ever "
Yep pretty crazy.. Here's another, by a Candian PETA poster BTW:
"I have to comment that if Bush actually is victorus I WILL CRY! War is not the answer, Violence is WRONG! There are also animals getting hurt in the Middle East, not just INNOCENT HUMANS! AMERICA IS NOT THE BEST DEMOCRATIC COUNTRY and i LIKE communists ...ha"
Here the leftists show their selves, as the arrogant, selfish, smug superior and narcissitic haters that they are:
"Most Americans are overweight. Fat people don't even know how to eat or exercize moderately. If they can't handle their health, how can you trust them to make an informed decision about something like president?"
And finally, a PETA post that I agreee with:
"were all fools."
See much more here... Bon Apetit! :D

Yeah! Release your poodles in the streets!

bah
I will not waste my time reading the thoughts of morons, maybe I would if we could troll, but the moderators at peta are facists.
-
Gracious healthy bean eaters and vegetable poopers, fight back against the alcoholic tyrannous dicatatorship that has taken over our peaceful land. We are of the vegetables, and the animals need our help. They do not like being turned to hamburger, and sausage, and steak, and chops, they are helpless and need us to save them. The military is full of animal torturing drunks that want to kill all of us weed toking hippies. Love and peace and Say no war for oil my friends. The only way to do this is through violence.
That about sums up those retards.

I read all the threads in the above PETA link, and am sorry I wasted my time on most of them. But I couldn't help myself. It was like I being sucked into a black hole, a region devoid of all reason or sound logic. Nothing but hate and imbicilic thought.:(
-
LOL wullfie,
Your right but that was to coherent for them!
-
When Howard Stern has the PETA girls on, he brings in bugs and threatens to kill them unless the girls strip and perform lesbian acts.
-
Their Boards were made up of the most humorless people of any Board I've ever trolled.
-
yeah they are Airhead.
very intolerant as well.
my god would it be fun to mess with them, but the moderators delete stuff that disagrees with peta, even if it is not a troll.

Speaking of...
I had a customer come into the store yesterday that I'd seen almost every year. She was just like anyone else...shopping for her groceries and taking advantage of the sales we had going.
Being that it's the start of November, we have begun having sales on turkeys for Thanksgiving. Most people take advantage of these sales and will deep freeze the turkeys so they can avoid the big rush come Thanksgiving week.
I was in the middle of sweeping up some spilled frozen peas when this lady, who I had talked to on numerous occasions on her other shopping visits, rounds the corner of the freezer section and promptly storms up to me. She shoves our ad in my face and promptly yells, "What the hell does this mean!"
I take a step back, trying to comprehend what she said to me. It's not often a customer just yells at me for no reason. "I'm sorry?" I ask, setting the broom on the floor.
"What is the meaning of this ad!" she shouts, pointing at a sale ad for frozen turkeys.
"It's just what it says, ma'am," I reply, trying to keep the conversation civil. "We're having a sale on turkeys this week for Thanksgiving. It'll repeat next week and we're going to be doing our free turkey givaways week after."
Her face gets red as a beet, "Your store willingly sells turkeys!"
I nod slowly, "Yes, we do. We've done it for a long time much like other stores."
She then throws the ad at my feet and pokes me in the chest, "I'm going to file a complaint with the company for not catering to vegetarians!"
I take another step back, "Ma'am,we do cater to vegetarians. We've got a whole slew of alternate choices you can buy if you want."
She continues poking me in the chest, "But you don't offer sales on those! You're trying to make money off us and you don't care about people who are sensitive to animal's rights!"
I could feel my face getting hot as I pulled my badge off my belt loop and shoved it into my pocket, "Ma'am, I'm sorry. We here at Albertson's are normal, meat-eating Americans. We sell all sorts of dead animals because it's what Americans want. Last time I checked, we're at the top of the food chain. I don't tihnk any normal, civilized American wants to give up red meat and traditional turkey to hug trees and eat carrots."
He reels back, shocked that anyone actually went against her beliefs. "What is your name, young man!" she shouts.
"Leon, and I've been here for about six months." I say.
"I'm going to file a complaint about you!" she shouts as she storms off.
I've come to think that PETA members are looney, close-minded people with an agenda that they see fit to force on others. I don't take them seriously...
Happy Turkey Day, everyone!

Tex
Did you really do that??

yea id like to see the evidence too,,, especially outta of a group of vegi, tree huggin, fur hating yuppies,,, that hug the Freedom of Speech admendment as much as they do.
-
Yeah Astac, I want to know what that was all about? Did they sick a lawyer on you for making fun of them?
-
I eat peta bread....or is it pita bread? Oh well, either way it's good with italian cold cuts, lettuce, tomato, and some italian dressing. And while i'm hijacking, I got this problem. Every now and then the supermarket has a sale on these giant pork loins, there almost three feet long. I buy between 4 to 6 of them, cut them in three and freeze them. They go for like $45.00 and I get them for about $16.00. Well, this has been going on for over a year now, just when we run out, they go on sale again, so I buy the same amount and freeze them. Well, the last time I came home with them, the wife gets pissed at me! "I'm sick of pork!" Unbelievable, we could eat filet mignon everynight and she would still beotch at me, I can't win. I don't care what she says, I'm buying them anyway! Ok, hijack over

Humans have evolved to obtain 80% of their calories from plant sources, 20% from animal sources.

It was a discussion about Peta and I added the FACT that they are the one of the ligitimate fronts for the Earth Liberation Front a known domestic terrorist group. I put in my post in that thread "I'd have half a mind to knock their building down" as a response to them burning car dealerships and research laboratories. So I got a letter from their lawyer demanding that i stop making threats against their group. That they notified the local police of my intentions. My post was quoted in the letter. Along with questions demanding that I provide them information about which Military Command I was a part of and my commanding officer's name (Because my sig on here used to have my Rank in the squad I'm a part of on here).
Anyway I'll try to find the thing and scan it so I can post it on here. Meanwhile I'll look for the thread all this happened in.
-
South Park summed up PETA neatly.
-
Bummer..was trying to search for the thread..can't seem to find it.
It was a thread about PETA handing out buckets of blood and chicken parts outside of KFC's to children. Was posting under my old banned persona of "Coolridr"...HTC guys must have deleted the entire thread.
-
I remember the thread vaguely. How on Earth did they track you down?
-
Yeah I remeber that too. That is really kind of disturbing!!
Stupid peta buttholes!
-
I remember that thread ...and ive seen some the spew they toss out .. it wouldnt stand in court .
wasnt it the Peta ruins xmas thread , or one like that ??

It was because I put in it
"If they want to do something about it they can find me at "
Didn't know someone on this board was a bleeding heart sellout.
-
Astac,
Cause of the trolling we did there, we had some peta people posting here for awhile. It was around that time.
I would not be suprised if one was still poping in from time to time.

That one's not young enough.

UPDATE!
I caught sight of a letter sent to my store manager from Boise, our corporate headquarters, demanding the immediate termination of "Leon, an employee in your Grocery department." Seems that our friend decided to take it to the highest authoirty.
Apparently, my manager didn't take her seriously, either. :D
On a side note, I noticed some threads on their boards mentioning boycotting grocery stores for Thanksgiving. Has anyone else seen this?
-
If jebus didn't want us to eat animals he wouldn't have made em outta meat.
-
Veal isn't delicious - its pretty tasteless. You have to doctor it up.

Yanno what would be great fun.
We should all go and invade their board and inundate em with factsand counterpoints and watch em scatter like so many cockroaches running from a can of Raid.
LMAO can you imagine even a half dozen of us posting on their boards?
while we're at it we can have several of our resident hunters posting pics of their most recent prized kills in all their gore
Would probably have the effect of several committing suicide, at least 3/4 in therapy for months, And a bunch being committed to an insane asylum altogether.
Hmmm the more Im thinking about this idea the more Im liking it.

"Contrary to popular belief, PETA does not use the bulk of its operating budget to fight animal cruelty. Rather, it puts the money toward offensive ideological campaigns designed to remake American society. According to the Center for Consumer Freedom, a Washington-based coalition of consumers, food companies and restaurants, less than one percent of PETA's total budget is dedicated to actually "helping animals." They report that in 1999 alone PETA "euthanized more than 1,300 cats and dogs…preferring to spend its money on cheap publicity stunts and criminal defense rather than finding the animals suitable homes."
Unfortunately, indecent advertising campaigns and misspent funds are not the only serious problems facing PETA. In 2001, PETA made donations to the Earth Liberation Front. ELF has been responsible for a number of arsons and other incidents of eco-terrorism around the country, provoking the FBI to add it to its list of domestic terrorist organizations. As a charitable organization that receives millions of dollars in annual donations from Americans, PETA's tax-exempt status depends on its ability to abide by the law."

I wonder how they would react if I went over there soliciting,"Have you hugged a fireant today?" t-shirts.
-
You know, I really do not understand these people. I can understand people being vegetarians because they have to be, or because they think that eating red meat will kill you...but I don't get the people that "feel guilty" because they work at McDonald's or "laugh outloud" about the events that sparked the Texas Chainsaw Massacre. I've been browsing their boards because I'm bored as hell and the level of ignorance over there is staggering.
I'm a fair person...I repsect everyone's opinion even if I disagree. But in my mind, there is a level that you just don't take it to. I cannot understand the mentality of PETA...at all. I don't understand someone being "horrfied" that people eat meat and use animal products. Indians were doing this with bison and buffalo many, many years ago...when did this "oh noes we can't eat the cute wittle animals!" start?
After the run in with the customer...I'm inclined to post my quote (below) on their boards. I wonder if I can get a letter written...
-
Animal rights activists are people who for whatever reason chose to spend their resources protect animals instead of people. This leads me to believe that on some level they don't like people, in other words, antisocial.
Anybody see the film "Voices of Iraq" ? There's a part in the film where an iraqi makes a coment about Bardot and animal rights activists who were defending a regime that treated people worse than they would allow anybody to treat animals.
