Can we have, or are you guys working on, a winter map?  

We seem to have all the other climate zones covered, time for winter.  Especially with all the new skins people have been doing, or can do, to take advantage of a white landscape.

I asked for the same thing a while back and was insulted and railed at by senior members. Near started an online riot.

There were no Winter battles in WWII.  No troops ever set foot in the snow, not in Russia or Germany.  All battles occurred in the Summer.  All the photos of WWII where you see snow on the ground are fake!  Planes where painted with the winter camouflage because the pilots thought they looked pretty.  This is why people where insulting you.

JK, I'd love to see a Winter map.  I've been asking for 2 years now.

We had a couple of winter maps in AH1. Kurland and FinRus Winter at least... But I've understood that Kurland should be ready for AH2 soon.

Oh but they're not MA maps if that's what you were hoping for. "Coming soon to a CT near you..." ;)

I wouldn't mind a winter map.  Although I wouldn't want it blazingly white.  Depending on the amount of tile variance, maybe a compromise between extreme snow and moderate snow.  ie, melting period or several weeks post first-snow.

well the new terrain editor is out ,,,u could always make one yourself,,,but i agree a "winter wonderland "for the MA wood be cooler than cool,,,it would be ice cold baby!!!!!

Isn't the Finland/Russia map in the CT now?

If i remeber correctly Finrus vegetation in AH1 looked better than standard vegetation in AH2. If memory serves well.

How does it look now?
