Fairfax, VA—The National Rifle Association Political Victory Fund (NRA-PVF) earned a 95% success rate of endorsed congressional candidates winning their races.  The Association also won two major battles over anti-hunting initiatives, as voters in Alaska and Maine rejected ballot issues banning bear hunting methods.

Of the 251 candidates endorsed by NRA for the U.S. House of Representatives, 241 candidates won. 14 of the 18 NRA-endorsed U.S. Senate candidates won their races.

moore is a lifetime member.   and a lifetime member of the NRA.   He pays no dues and probly never has.

I believe a good American relative bought him the lifetime membership when he was still getting wedgies and having his lunch money taken away from him in school.

Lifetime member dues are spendy, apparently he joined at a young age, so his father probably flipped for the bill.

Wheres your sense of humour?

Learn to laugh at yourselves along with him.

We are good at laughing at ourselves over here keeps us sane!

I mean come on it is hilarious that a bank gives out guns with accounts. I thought so anyhow. Its like something out of Monty Python!

blue... would you rather have a toaster?   maybe a sonic care toothbrush eh?

Giving out a weatherby is one hell of a great way to get customers.

Are you realy the fool yoiu portray yourself to be online or is it just a dumbcluck Redneck act?

Sorry had to ask.

Seems you like to respond to posts in a formulaic and rather provocative way.

well blue.. see... to me, the remark about how funny getting a weatherby ( a fine rifle used by hunters and sportsmen all over the world) seemed.... ignorant and provocative.

What is funny about getting a fine firearm as an incentive to do something?

Weatherby rifles are fine rifles for hunting, but there is a small gap between the headspace and rifling which decreases accuracy.  It's a hunting rifle and not a target rifle.

I almost bought a Weatherby Vanguard, but decided on the Remington model 700, which is a much more accurate rifle for target shooting.

Let's face it, target shooting and hunting shooting are, or should be, equally accurate.  But far as hunting goes, the Weatherby is a time honored and very respected rifle.   I wouldn't scoff at it.

you can actually load the ammo out some to get closer to the lands on a weatherby if you want to target shoot it.. they shoot better than I can in any case tho.

Don't feel bad, I've wounded deer and they got away.  Goes with the territory.  Thing to do is sight the rifle in first, so it doesn't happen again.
