Title: shock absorber works only on Ki84?

I noticed this after the Ki84 came out... Is it just me or the shock absorber on the landing gears work only on the Ki84?  Not that I tried all planes but I have a tendency to bounce on landing in any fighter plane I take up except the Ki84 and the Ju88s and the Ki67...
