1935 Sunday, here in Buffalo NY. The aurora borealis is NW to N up in the sky, red and green. Very cool. I live by the lake so its not so bright. Stare at it more then 2 minutes and you get to thinking about the stars. DOH!
Never known it to be in this part of the state. Go to the Adderondacks every year and see it up there, never before here tho.

We use to see them when I lived outside of Rochester, Id love to to alaska some day to see them.

They are incredible when you see them in the middle of the Bering. No other light to take away from them.

I've seen them in Alaska, they are awesome :-)

You don't have to go really far north to see the colours. I've seen them in August at Sauble Sands, mid way up lake Huron.
