Another one that gave me a chuckle
-
Haha, Awesome :D
I remember watermelon like that when I was in.
Nice.
:aok

I remember being asked "Do you have somethig to say?" to the TI, and foolishly answering sarcastically....and spending a lot of time mowing the lawns.
Funny, on the recruitment video, I never saw the bowling alley, chaperelle or other "neat things recruits do on their off time". Heh...fun summer that was, back in 1988 at Lackland AFB.
-
That just made my day totally
-
Now thats funny...even the salute at the end.. what a hoot!
-
I got that at work the other day. Crew chiefs can be a funny bunch sometimes.
What's even more funny is how they are arguing on that page if the guy was navy and those are F14s. Its pretty clear that they are 15s to me but oh well!
I remember doing night ops once out in the field and we had to land a squadron of harriers. One guy went out there to marshal them in with only Boots, Flash lights, and a reflective vest. Pretty fun stuff.

That's not the Air Force I knew, damn buncha slackers. :aok
Right Gunslinger, obviously F15s.
-
Heh. F-15E squadrons have more fun than most :) Guys get bored with the same-old same-old when deployed... Just gotta make sure to never ever ever fall for the "crack in the intake" gag. I saw that one done to a new maintenance officer and I'm sure he'll be emotionally scarred for life.
I didn't get a good enough look in the vid to know who that guy is, but chances are I've met him. They don't usually dance like that at home station where the OG might be watching.

Crack in the intake gag?

:aok

Anyone with a maintenance background want to explain the "crack in the intake" gag?
-
Now you have to explain it.

Must be a military joke, because I have a maintenance background and I havent heard it.
I actually have seen more than a couple cracks on intake nose cowl skin. I had to ground a DC10 once due to a crack on an intake cowl lip, was scheduled for Amstermdam. I felt bad about it, but it was 1/8" out of limits.
