No disrespect to Arlo he flew Allies last night during this.:)
Last night I was up in a Ki84 and got gang banged by 2 - 38's and 4 or 5 F4U-1 and F4UF. What gives??? They acted like a bunch of keystone cops, not like killer gang bangers. They got in each others way and let me keep turning inside of all of them horizontal or vertical. I finally died from the unnaturally accurate AI fluffy ack diveing away from them.
I am ashamed of these MA gang puppies coming in here now. What happened to those real killers of single defensless Old Men HuH????? ;) Ankle Hummpers. :p

LMAO!
I can't comment one way or another on the BASIS of thsi post, but this post per se rates a 10 on my scale!

Ankle Hummpers.
Did you clear the use of this phrase with Shane? You may be treading on trademark infringement.

Slash thats ok last night shane thumped on me without mercy. I'm still pulling peices of my plane outta my you know what. But whats with some of these MA ankle hummpers lately? They fly like cowards and can't even get up a resepectable group mugging. I guess the CT plane sets trip them up. No uber zoomers for them to power through with...................
-
Get used to it no one will fly axsis when the numbers favor the allies. So needless to say if you up a plane you will get gang raped.
-
Saw you pop in for a very few minutes last night, gearee. Stick around for more than that and see the sides magically balance (or flip flop). ;)
-
You know I've really been enjoying most of the fights in the CT this last week.
But I am sick to death of winning a fight only to die to the super fleet ack!
Or having 2 allied fleets between their field & ours so they always have a ack curtain to run to!
Also, why in the heck do the allies get a b24 when the biggest best axis bomber is a ki-67?
In my opinion we REALLY need a heavy Japanese bomber, preferably one of the flying boats. Emily especially was well armed & armoured & carried a large payload vast distances.
And move those darn fleets up north someplace!
-
i tried to keep the fleets to the SE... but now and then someone would change course to drive 'em up the middle.
i did send one fleet to the PT spawn point for a while, tho' due to the ija running from te island to the spawn point for protection.

Weren't you driving that fleet up North that I sunk last night about 10:30pm or so? Or did you jump in the cruiser to fire off a few rounds before I sunk it? I know you upped a few PT boats but I don't know who was manning the fleet guns.
-
yeah that was me on the way to get *your* ijn fleets out of parking off the US controlled A18 (or 19 whichever) beaches.
i sunk your cv and another cruiser, it'd have helped if teh goobers trying to man the shore batteries would have jumped over to man the fleet guns.
-
LOL... I dropped those shore batterys before turning the fleet South, I left one up cause it was pointing West and didn't pose a threat.

Same reason Allies get B-17s and Axis gets Ju 88s in an ETO set.

Problem with is it kind of takes away half the Allied plane set.
But I am sick to death of winning a fight only to die to the super fleet ack!
I agree. Ill look into a setting change to see if it will cut down on this in the future.

Slash
sir & thanks for the reply.
My point about the fleets, until late in 1944 fleets were considered very vulnerable to land based bomber attacks. Except for home port they just did NOT stay just off the beach of an enemy held island.
Second, I can see the allies getting the b-26. That would make sense to me. And it would be a good counter to the ki-67.
But in my opinion the B24 makes it entirely too easy to shut down enemy fleets, shore battery's, etc.
Where the Japenese planeset is doing VERY well to manage to kill a CV. It takes 10x the teamwork to accomplish the same job.
Besides, this gives me a chance to crusade for a better japanese bomber!
Like the EMILY!
Right? :)
Last
Maybe just me, maybe something about patch 2, but all acks seem to bite harder. Fleet ack especially.

Very true.

I understand that. She does carry a hell of alot of ord.

You have my full support. I want the Ki 43,44, and 45 while they are at it.:aok
-
An an earlier variant of the F6F and add the Helldiver while we're at it. Maybe give the Japanese a tinker tank. They had one that could be made an amphib like the LVT.
I'd like to see a seperate cosmetic look for Japanese CVs.
B-25s anyone?
What was that Japanese twin engined scout/interceptor?
Some Beauforts too.
Hey! Look! A Pacific theater!
I ask for too much.

Believe you are talking about the Ki-45 (Nick).
They also had the Nakajima Gekko Type 11 (Irving) but that was a recon and night fighter.
-
the dinah, ki-46...
ki-45 nick was the japanese version of the bf-110
-
Yeah ... BF-110 Nick's the one.
