Not sure if this applies to MA, but if you fire your guns while taking off and the rounds hit the drones - you take self-inflicted damge.

Was in TA when this happened.

Friendlies are viable targets in the TA. Wouldn't suprise me if hari-kari on drones was possible. I killed myself once in a tiger when removeing trees with HE rounds.
