Title: Remedy for This??

I just started AH2 and the only way I can fly each time I enter the game is by deleting my video 8 setting in my settings file and then I go thru the whole video setup and enter the game. When I enter the game I have to go to the video settings and uncheck the boxes for horizon and terrain mipmapping, otherwise everything appears black.  

System
850 pent 3
768megs mem
9000ati vid card

I am getting between 35-45 fps

Is there any fix for these problems?

Yes I know my system is "OLD"!

Should I just wait till my new system is done,,,,,,guess I need a little advice

PS----Don't know who runs BBS but they have excellant suggestions for most remedies....hard to do with such a vast array of computers,,,,Salute

I dont understand why it is you have to delete the .cfg file each time?  If you do not delete it then the settings you changed last time should remain.

I think we need a look at your DX file

got to start/run  then type in Dxdiag

run all its tests then hit save this will create a notepad file on ur desk top

copy and past the top part of it here , or send it to Support@hitechcreations.com

Were interested in seeing your system specs , video,and sound  portion of the DXfile . that way we can compare drivers, ect
