The first night with 2.00 patch 2 caused a significant frame rate reduction of nearly 50%. Frame rates before the patch were typically mid-high 70s with an average of 78.
Now, in clear air, above water with land in view in the distance, the forward view now produces a maximum of 44 frames per second. In areas with many aircraft, the average has dropped to the mid-30's. Several other people commented over range channel that they too experienced frame rate drops with this new patch. Anyone else?

The 9600 Pro is your problem. Get a 9800 Pro and you'll have less trouble.
All the DX9 features make a significant impact on performance, especially when the detail/objoect size settings are on full.
Put the detain and object size a bit to the left of the middle... You'll notice much better performance, with a small drop in quality.
