We were down to the last airfield on furball Island this morning (GMT), GV's inbound and a CV off shore,
Took up a B24 from a near airfield, Sank the CV off shore and then destroyed the three VH hangars at the nearest enemy GV base.
Then :) I was accused of being a fun Nazi by fellow rooks and warned against sinking the enemy CV.
My apologies to fellow rooks, one day I will get the hang of this game, until then please bear with me, for I know not what I do

wipass .. ignore it. Basically you will be damned by somebody for what you do or what you don't do.
Have heard plenty of whines on the other side about nobody sinking a CV to prevent an invasion but just mindless furballing. And also just like you have heard some complain when you do sink an enemy CV because they just want to furball.
Do what you consider is fun and anybody that issues a warning too you needs to lighten up .. they are just blowing hot air.

Even though I'm a knight I have to agree with ghostdancer.
Its your 15$ a month, that gives no one but HTC the right to decide what you do with it.
Granted some things you do may not win you friends and gain you influence.
First rule of AH always has been & always will be. Don't tell someone else how to play "Their" game.
If people are complaining, guess what, you won. People only really complain when they are PO'd, frustrated, and losing.

I realize your initial post was probably a sarcastic semi-troll -- but I know whereof you speak. You'll never please everybody, because some love furballing, some love GVs, and some love strategic landgrabbing for the "win".
EVERY time I take off I'm gonna displease one of those groups.
But, the adults in those groups all know everbody plays for their own fun.
As for the pre-adolescents of all ages -- just imagine you sent them to their rooms without supper, and you'll feel better. :aok

Just get a 2nd account and only kill 2nd account then you can only bitach at yourself. Think of the fun calling yourself HO bastard, Running grapefruit and many other options used every day in game. Of course its wipass so doing this isn't to farsighted since you already have dual personalities...............:)

Maybe you can't please them all, but you could have some courtesy.
It would be nice if this community could get into the habbit of asking on range if everyone would like the CV or hangers killed.
IMO how hard is it, when you see a bunch of guys fighting the planes from a carrier, rather than trying to kill the carrier maybe you could find another carrier to kill, if that is your thing.
Also, WTF, why not kil the support ships first, if your in it for the boat killing.
Personally there is nothing worse than one guy killing the fun for many. And the, "it's my 14.95" excuse doesn't cut it either cause you can go kill another carrier or hanger somewhere else and get your 14.95s worth there.
So maybe if you asked first you would not have been chastised for potato peeling up the fight.:aok

Whats the point of online of the MA then, yall can say go kill something else, if its nonstop dogfights you want, go to the DA or CT (CT does have some stategic value tho) Cant complain if some player wishes to sink or destroy an object if its made capable of being destroyed in the first place.
And I imagine that excuse wont do either.
SO we all just have to get over it and suck it up. We all can just do what we please. This is an argument that cannot be won, just cause a purse swinging fest.

If you haven`t noticed the MA is setup as base capture being the point of the game.
This has been tryed before. I wouldn`t hold my breath till it came true. :D

You can please them all if people had more courtesy and stuff.
I think everyone should get in the hobbit of asking everyone on range channel if they can shoot at planes. After all, maybe I want to shoot at the plane.
IMO how hard is it when you see a bunch of planes and LVTs and bombs coming at your base, for you to just turn and run and let the base get captured. It's bad enough to ruin the fun for your countrymen, but don't ruin the enemies fun, too. They want to have fun capturing that base with their CV.
Also, WTF, why not just kill outhouses if your in this game for killing stuff. Nobody will yell at you for bombing an outhouse, except for the guy who REALLY likes bombing outhouses. And you should've asked him first anyway.
Personally, there is nothing worse than a guy killing for fun and killing many and killing the fun for many. And the "that's my 14.95" excuse doesn't cut it either cause you should have worry about offending people with your 14.95. Stop waving your 14.95 around like your all rich and stuff. Go drop your 14.95 on an outhouse or another carrier after you ask everyone if its okay.
So maybe if you asked everyone on country channel, maybe take a vote even, to find out what targets you can shoot at. Ask the UN too. Then you will not be chastised for potato peeling up the fight.:aok

i enjoy a furball, sometimes i enjoy land grab. good thing is, there is always both going on everytime i log on, so i can choose where to up, based on what i feel like doing. :) i suppose some find it fun to do the opposite, furball where land grab is going on, and others try to land grab where furball is. oh well, not gonna get my panties in a bunch over that, i guess it is their 15 bucks a month.

I just don't get it. All this bickering about what and who to kill when is driving me nuts. Why are we thinking about all those casualties out there.
That's right. I have you all know I was killed in that attack on the CV, and had my hugahunkd by wipeass. But nobody seems to care. I'm crushed. :lol

I am the worst kind of "have it my way player". I fight for all sides, switching often, just to see what its like playing with different people. TRAITOR!! etc is common. It's amazing how serious some people get.
In my opinion, Wipeass saved the day for the Rooks when he killed that CV (but today is a new day :).

The other day we were furballing with nme carrier planes off our base. Delphi came along in his heavy buffs and asked over range:
'You guys having fun there? shall i take out the curiser and let you furball?'
we replied:
'yes sir, this fight is great fun, please leave the carrier up'
he sunk the cruiser and a destroyer.

Boy, maybe the Rooks I flew with were very very drunk...when I was flying my Lanc near our airfield in distress, someone gave me vectors and heading of the fleet. I then dropped on both the CV and destroyer, sinking each. Then, as corny as this is, I got high praise and parades in my honor for saving the day.

Batfink there aren't many people like Delphi.
Alot, and I would say the majority are just there sinking a CV to sink a CV. Be it for the war or just because its there and they want to try and sink it.
Delphi is a good guy, a great guy with alot of class. Always nice to have on your side.
Me on the otherhand. Im just an insensitive salamander. So I'm told.
So we need guys like Delphi.
PS: this game does suck and Im not only quiting, but im going to blow up my computer and kill my neighbors cat. And it all of your guys fault!

Yeah it does depend on the situation, if you see a carrier and no one is defending against it, sink it, sink every ship around it, have a blast. If you see a big green and red mass, well maybe, just maybe you (meaning everyone not just Cooley) could give a crap about your country men and ask.
If someone is taking a crap you don't barge in there to brush your teeth because your tooth brush is in there. Well some of you might, never mind ahahaha :lol
As for chess, it's a pretty dumbed down game of chess hopefully TOD will change that and the MA. I haven't seen any real strategy since the AKs had to defend against the MAW scourge about two years ago when we were three affective attacking forces. Some of 40s and the MAWs best work. The AKs countered nicely attacking our supporting fields etc hampering out efforts.
As for 4 or 5 other checker games, please let me know what game you are playing because in AH I CAN find a toolshed any time, any where, any night.
It's the furballs that are rare and depending on the map sometimes non existant. If it were as you stated, then this would be a non issue since we could just move on to the next furball, unfortunatly this is an issue.

I would have thanked you. I have only been back in AH for about a month and it make me sick as to how many ROOKS only want to furball. I wont change sides, thats not gonna happen, but I do take pleasure it the cries that I ruined thier fun.
Oh and not to make a rabbit trail, but it sucks seeing a mob of friends at a base and thinking to self "Hmmm they must have town down by now, I'll bring a good." only to get there and find the town all up and they are on a continuous vulch lamp. (WOW run on sentance)
Im not against vulching, as long as it is done in an attempt to catpure a base, but what some of these ROOKs do is sad.

I wanted to ask everyone if its okay if I bomb the CV. I just asked everyone online, they said "okay" but I wanted to check with the broader audience to make sure no one is about to log on looking for some CV cherry picks in their La7s or whatever.
Please respond quickly...CV is in sights...puffy ack getting thick.
