Eight years ago, on Halloween of 1996, a small group of virtual pilots created the Nightmares.
This squad has had a wonderful journey since then with excellent leadership under COs such as Sleet, Cloud 9, RumbleFish, Big Dawg and Ghost Dancer, and flexible incarnations under the designation Mk I, Mk II, VMF-898 and VMF-101 that transitioned us from our humble beginnings in the Air Warrior Relaxed Realism arenas through the Full Realism arenas and finally into Aces High.
It's hard to put a tag on this Squad. Truely the Nightmares are a melting pot of organization versus independence, of main arena versus event focus, and of diverse nationalities and viewpoints. Mostly, it's about camraderie and friendship :).

Congrats to the Nightmares on 8 yrs of togetherness in our virtual world! I know I've made life long friends between Air Warrior and Aces High, and look forward to meeting more of you in the years to come.
The Airmegs are planning on our annual get together next year for the Aces High Convention. We're looking forward to meeting those we fly with and those we shoot down .

I'm with Stink, congrats on your 8yrs, and I do remember an occasional run in with you Dawg (BFD) in AW before I changed from CZ to BZ,:aok ah the learning curve isn't it great.:D
