Post by: Stegahorse on November 13, 2004, 07:29:21 PM
Any thoughts to making AH2 available to Xbox and Playstation?
Xbox has a joystick avaialble and Playstation has 2 USB ports?
Well, the upating might be  a probelm though.

Several people have asked me when it would be possible.

That would be pretty cool, furballing on a 60 inch plasma screen. :D

There will be no xbox/ps2 version.

You can play on you big screen tv now if you get the right setup.  I personally wish micro LCD or EL would give us a 4 oz head mounted display at 1600x1200....3D

If ya use the S-Video out from your computer, best you can get is 640x480 interlaced.  eeekkk!

Now, if ya buy a TV with a PC input, (VGA), you might be able to achieve 1280x720 progressive, assuming that your tv is capable of a screen resolution of 720p.

If you have an Enhanced Definition TV (EDTV), 640x480p is all you can get, although you will still be able to send a 1024x768 from your computer, the tv screen will display it, but not at that resolution.

You can't use the DVI input on your tv to connect to your computer.  That DVI will only accept an encrypted display signal.

Aces High on a TV screen is out of reach for most people.

There are ways of getting a non-VGA set to display computer in HD, most notable are VGA/HDTV converter boxes (not cheap but available).

There are many current TVs that have a vga in though.  Its really not that big a deal since you can sit 12" from a 19" monitor and feel pretty dang immersed.

Hmmm.  The conference room at work has ports built in to the table for hooking the laptop up to the plasma screen on the wall with full surround sound and a high speed cable modem connect...............

You can play AH in XBOX. Only need install
a Linux system like Xebian or Gentoox and then a Win emulator...Maybe you can install Win 2000 on the XBOX and then AH.
