Perk the 2nd and 3rd buffs.
Then I won't mind the stupid, non-historic, unfair and game killing low-level buff raids. Just perk them 10 points each and we'll begin to see the end of the low-level box.
The box's were meant for historic bomb runs, not low-level raids. Polesti is always mentioned as a low-level raid, any boxes there? HA Now you see my point.
Also I would like to start the ball rolling for the next gv. Please consider a 1972 Ford Pinto with a 50 cal mounted on top. We need something the M-8 can kill.

Not playing 4 months, and then coming back and seeing how much fun AH can be, is truly something to be happy about..
-
what id like is if they got rid of that horrible yellow green grass and replaced it with the deep green tropical paradise grass of ah1...
-
i agree something has to be done to stop the suicide low level bombers.
-
All it would take to make me happy is Kelly Brook, Jakki Degg and some chocolate sauce.

Updated the Amiga, WT?

There already is something that can stop dweebish low level bombers.
20 mm cannons :D

Can we perk repatative BBS messages made over and over and over by someone who wants everyone to play 'their way'?
-
just perk the BBS in itself :) 5 points per post

Actually, do we still need the single player box of 3 bombers in the MA anymore. The box was added when HTC increased the bombing difficulty with the calibration model. As I recall HT said the box was to help compensate for the need to carpet bomb.
Well, now the calibration model is pretty much back the way it was before...easy. So shouldn't the box go away too?

O no, shhh :D

A bomber on its own is just dead meat, regardless of how high it flies, it will just be easy sport for fighters.
I see nothing wrong with the present system at all, it works well in an imperfect world.

Seems to me, and I could be wrong, that if you flew a formation of bombers over the coast of France in 1942 at 500 ft the Jerries would shread you.
Maybe the AI Ack should be more accurate at lower alts?

For the most part, at 500 feet the ack cant turn fast enough to track you and you cant be seen very far away. Now Im sure the luftweenies would shred you:D Much AA is designed to explode a XXX altitude (time fuze). Flying low there isnt any way those types of shells can be effective. The machine gun ack could be....but again, unless you flew right over it (and it saw you comming) youd never be able to get a shot off.
Anyone who flies a bomber over an enemy base with manned ack in AH can tell you about how long that lasts.....not very.
What is needed is that players accept that you must defend a base that flashes, not gripe about the way people fly. Last night my squad flew several missions at the paultry altitude of 10k....and we destroyed 3 bases and the HQ. SHould someone now complain that bombers didnt fly at 10k...but typically 20k...so we were also too low?

Makes sence to me. Those Luftweenies would love that.
Like we always see here, you just can't please everyone.

Hell I used to loveflying B-26's at tree top level until they added formations and then the fun went out of it.
