The Ki84s altimeter is either upside down or uses strange units...

Nope - the altimeter is fine.
It just uses a non-Western method.

It's not just non-western but a non-earth version. Put that in the niki, it matches the UFO flight model ;)

It's non-Western. You Western guys start a circle from the top. We Eastern guys start a circle from the bottom.

It's not wrong that it starts at the bottom. It's wrong that it shows feet.
Altimeters that show feet and start at the bottom don't exist (valid statement unless someone can provide evidence that proves it wrong ;) )

Correcto! Japanese altimeters used Kilometers and Zero at bottom.

Our clocks are fine. But you should try driving in Japan. Its kinda unsettling to drive on the left side of the road sitting on the right side of the car.
But then again in that sense Brits are insane too.
