It's nice to have a loaded GLOCK37 .45GAP in between the seats just in case. Perfectly legal here, even without a carry permit.
Terror

should be legal everywhere.

What do anti gun, anti car envirmental, type "guys" do for hobbies?

I think it would be an interesting experiment. Free, unfettered access for anyone to weapons of all calibers. No background checks or permits necessary for purchase; likewise carrying and discharging your weapon in public should be unrestricted. They should be allowed everywhere: churches, schools, daycare centers and courtrooms.
Wonder what changes would occur in our society? Maybe criminals would be so afraid of everyone everywhere, they would simply cease to operate, and all our cities would become quiet and peaceful.
Or, maybe we would end up looking more like Mogadishu.
My guess is that it would be a real problem in urban areas, while not much would change in the rural areas. It might end up showing that some level of reasonable restriction on gun ownership, transportation and use turns out to be the best course after all.

Drive a huge Oldsmobile and don't worry about it Lazs.:D

GTO, I've been wondering how people have managed to hang on to the black plates. Any ideas?
Oboe, you'd have a brief span with a high mortality rate of stupid people. Then things would be more calm.
-
Stupid people, police officers, children, both intentionally and accidentally. I think the cost to society would end up being be pretty high.
But I do think you could make this change, and in a semi-rural area like Dixon, Ca, it would hardly be noticed. But it would be chaos in the urban areas.

Get jiggy with it Jigsaw.

As far as I know in Cali as long as you do not tell the DMV the car has them you get to keep them.
If you lose one and get a fixit ticket your SOL though.
The GTO I had had a black plate, (front one missing)never got a ticket and the DMV never asked about the plates when I registered.

I think it's cool to see black plates. I've heard people brag about them and wondered if they'd really have any effect on the vehicle value or if it's just bragging rights.
I think back when Tx did the 150 aniversary plates you were required to update, but that was long ago and far far away when I was too busy chasing teenage girls to pay attention to such things.

I don't think police would become targets. Aside from body armor, anyone dumb enough to take a shot at a cop would have done it in the first place.
Intentionally shooting kids? Well, I guess that'd put us one up on the Brit's "no spanking" rules and give an entirely new definition to Ward being a bit "Hard on the Beaver."
To work, it would have to be a unilateral thing. If you allowed it in some areas and not others, it's no different than current laws.

I knew there was a reason why I've been working all this overtime the last two months.
What to buy....a carry gun,or just something for fun....
-
I went to the Portland Expo center today. One side had a custom car and motorcycle show... the other had a gun show. What a coincidence.

My daily carry fits rather nicely between the seats of my environmentally unfriendly, noisey, unsafe, obnoxious kraut kan.
Cars, guns and boobies. I love this country.
-
I can see it now...instead of the pimped out Honda Civics were used to seeing with the rediculous tires and spoilers; we'll see afterburning exhaust with a TOW missile mount for those pesky tail gaters.
Hooray for boobies BTW!
-
Don`t forget Scooters, Shooters and Hooters. :D
-
Oboe...my may...the urban areas are ALREADY loaded down with weaponry.
An ah aint tawkin jus bout da wuns carried by de dawgs in da hood.
There are lots of up-town people of breeding and culture that pack heat...whether they'll admit it or not. They're gonna pack for protection until the government disarms the "riff raff."
-
I have black plates on my Healey... they were on it when I bought the car in 71,
Guns shouldn't be restricted... shooting them could have regulations tho. Cities could enact their own carry laws but not ownership laws.
the hip hop rapper guys like guns and cars I suppose but they aren't enthusiasts... they have about the tweety knowledge level... they hold guns sidways and ruin cars. They can't appreciate a good car or fine firearm. souless crybabies.

Guns/cars? I don't see a connection!

Some who spent a great deal of time hopped on dope should not even be near a firearm let alone fire one. Do you agree with me on that one Lazs?

That's worth quoting!
The 2005 Mustangs are popping up in dealerships here and I'm lusting for one. Can't say I'm considering getting a handgun to go along with it, though.
-
people that spend all their time drugged out shouldn't have guns or cars or girlfriends or jobs or purchase power tools or have credit cards or computers or families. certainly they shouldn't be allowed to have children or the tools to make fire.
wouldn't you agree with me regular?

bug... just out of curiosity.... how did you (and all those other soldiers) manage to control yourselves? Are you going to tell me that the firearms you were using didn't make anyone go crazy and start shooting? Perhaps army life is so relaxed and kind that no one has any percieved slights or.... everyone is mindfull of everyone elses rights and gives everyone else respect and "space"?

You are Bloody obsessed with guns!!!!! You worry me!

why would I worry yu? You aren't planning on coming over here and doing me harm are you?

Such an Obsession is unhealthy.
( Don't shoot just an opinion :rofl )
-
how is it unhealthy? I would say that I mention guns even less than some of the people who don't own em or like em or want anything to do with em. In my opinion they are the ones who are unhealty.
think of it like this... say that you were talking about playing aces high 10% of the time and someone who had never played it or any sim or... so very little that they knew only enough to make all the wrong conclussions about it... say that they were on a mission to ban aces high... for your own good of course...
now, you know that they probly won't be able to get it banned but knowing as much as you do about the subject you feel obligated to point out the missinformation the guy is spewing.

lol, huh? Someone could post and ask what the square root of 81 is, and your answer would be 9 guns!
