I was in a fight with to 109 in a P-51 in the check 6 on sunday, i was trying to out turn the 109, but had a real hard time to do that. I thought that the P-51 with 25% flaps down cud out turn the 109??. Sorry i dont know witch model of the 109 it was.
Is there big diffrent with the models of the 109 in engine, turn ratio, etc.
And if, who is the best 109 plane?? (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)

Which 109? (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)
Some of them turn better than others. However, generally speaking, you don't want to try tou "out turn" anything in the Pony, save maybe the D9 and the Jug.
Use the vertical and conserver your E. Above all, stay fast in the Pony. If you keep your speed up the Pony does indeed turn pretty well, but beware you are sacrificing E when you do it.

The 51 will outturn all 109's at high speed (300+) however at slow speed, good luck.
A 51 is not a turnfighter.

S!
The P51B gives pretty tough opponent in hands of a good pilot in a low & slow T&B.But in general if You get a Pony low and slow,he's more or less dead meat.Just had a great fite with a Pony other day.It started pretty much co-alt and E.It was mix of rope'n'dope,B&Z and finally T&B where I nailed this guy.He really gave an adrenaline rush!No names, but he was from Escuadron Combate Virtual(or similar).<S>
