hi.
my name is wynne, my sister was "tittibit"
last week she lost her fight against throat cancer. and passed away at home. at the age of 34.
she had been in recession for a number of years
her real name was "teriwyn" and she had been flying in aceshigh since 2000, she had'nt played in the last 11 months.
which is why i have had a hell of a job finding the details on her pc as she had locked all passwords away. but i found this account she had just opened.
she used to change her name every so often . but the ones i know are 3500, dracken1 and tittibit.
she wanted to be remembered to.
aka, furball, neckbone, hammy, all members of the 332viking squad.
could someone please pass on the news to these people if they still play
there are other names but i know some of them are from other forums.
she sold the garage repair shop she owned and became a partner in our mtorcycle shop.
she will be missed by her family and friends, she was always warm and generous but did not suffer fools and she always spoke her mind.
thank you for your time folks..
-
sorry to hear about this.
:(

Man thats rough, i am sorry for this loss.
-
My sincere condolences as I know how it is to loose a sibling. She and your family will be remembered in our prayers. Our deepest appreciation for enlightening us about her departure as in an online commuity, we rarely hear of what has happened to somebody we used to fly with or against that has vanished from our community. Normally we just hope that the person had gotten bored with the game and always reject the thought that it was something far worse. Again, We are deeply saddened by our loss!
All the Best...

Oh, this makes me very sad indeed.
Tittibit was one of the most fun to join up with and have a chat with.
She really made some squad nights brilliant with her good humour and wits and Ive not seen anyone yet to match her skill in the Ostie.
I wasnt really expecting such a sad end to this story only waiting for teriwyn/dracken/draig/tittibit to show up eventually.
My thoughts are with you Teriwyn! :(
you were indeed a great game companion!
-
oohh no:( she got me to join in the viking squad,,we use to talk online all the time,,about a 2 months ago,,she left me a email ,asking if i was still around,,and responded and gave her my new messager name,,and she never responded back,,i see why now:( she was a very good online freind of mine and a fellow squad mate that i would fly with any time!! she will be deeply missed
my deepest regards too family and freinds of teri

Prayers to the Family and friends.

This is really sad indeed.
She was one of the most funny and witty perosons I had the pleasure to meet in aces high.
Her jokes, photo-shop edited pics and stingging remarks about our CO and members, made her the live spirit of the 332nd viking squadron from the day she joined.
She will be missed and not forgotten. Her kind never are.

I’m shocked... Dracken1/Tittibit Joined our squad the 332 Viking Squadron for a good while and did 112 SN/Missions with the squad.
I’m just to shocked and don’t know what exactly to say, just that she was one off the finest and funniest person in the squad who held the laughter high and kept the guys in there seats ;).
If one off the guys tried to get here some smart comment, I can tell you that the guy who tried that got his maught full :). Me included . We all loved here comments in our group and had a blast by having a women in the squad.
can’t belive she is gone.... I talked to TT very often and she did not say anything to me about this. I always called hear TT don’t know why I started doing that.
I’m chocked need some time to get this in...
My sincere condolences to you wynne and your family, she was one off a kind and a person who I'm proud to become to know.
Teriwyn my dear, you did hide this secret good girl. 34 years, **** and exuse my language.....
Me and the guys in the 332 Vikings squadron was lucky to got to know you and we shared many good and enjoyable comments and laugther through this time. After flying 112 SN/Mission with us we got to know you very good.
Im better stop talking and try to come out off this shock.
Teriwyn my dear it was a blast to got to know you and thanks for the good times you brought to our life’s, farvell TT.................
-

She always teased me with my bike since I drowe road racing and she loved the real bikes that she called them. She was into the Harly Davidson bikes;). So you can say there was some kind off diffrent types of bikes;).
Hyenea was you in the squad when she sent me the tower pictures me drinking beer in the tower, he he I always was in the tower hanging out when you guys were flying :). She had made that from the game and modded it in paint shop etc. And when she posted the baby face she made off me, he he. What a girl, gott us tonns off laughs........

terrible news i was only speaking to her on msn about 3 months ago.. she never mentioned how she was feeling..she was upbeat and quirky as ever,, talked about her business and about her village getting broadband finally so she could come back to AH because her dial up couldn't hack it....
her favorite rides in ah were the osty and the 110.. as i have just finnished a 110 skin, hopfully it will be accepted, i will be dedicating it to tittibit, there will be a few words hidden on the skin..
There will be a 332 tribute soon..
i just can't belive it..

Very sad news, and she was far too young. I remember flying against her many times in all of her various guises. My sincere condolences to her friends and family.

Just a thought, but any of you guys know a way to get this to Teriwyn's family?
I'm just guessing here, but I think they probably don't read the BBS. They might appreciate seeing the regard the community had for Teriwyn.
-
muddie i have no idea,,but i have allready emailed her old email address and hopfully her family will get my message,,going to take snap shots on sunday and record the hole event
and if teriwyn family sees this,,or dont get my email,,please email us at are viking web site,,or me at hyena74@aol.com ,,the 332viking squad would be happy to anser any questions you have ,,i know this must be tragic and very hard on her family

This is really sad news, my heart are trully heavy and darkend with sorrow for such a big lost for your family Wynne.
Teriwyn was a person who really could reach out and "touch" u, even tho it was behind (or infront of) the world of computers.
She would always light up my day with some jokes on the squad BBS or on the radio online.
The 332 vikings squad meetings will never be the same without her.
Teriwyn we will always remember you.
-
I am really really sorry to hear this news :(
she will always be forever in our hearts and may God Bless Her Soul Teriwynn, safe journey to wherever it is you fly to.

I don't even know what to say... I had no idea.
I used to fly with tittibit alot in black widow's and elimaxx's h2h rooms quite a bit, years ago... back when she was one of her dracken names. Been missing her lately, wondering where she had gotten off to.
Tittibit... you left us too soon.

I would like to join in guys .. I'll have to do the country switch sat night so i can go back to Rookland later sunday for squad nite though . (if its ok with the rest of the Vikings )
As you guys know Teri along with Hyena are some of my 1st Friends here in AH land ... (I'm still really sad )
Teri used to message me all the time (befor she joined the Vikings in the MA) And bug me to open a room just so she could shoot the tail off my corsair . I think I tried every trick in the book to distract her just to throw her off . (she could fly the wings off of just about every plane in the game )
We had many hours of fun and Laughter together .
I remember her Favorite map was Luzon ( the beer bottles ) That was also the map were She taught me how to fly the jug (i was a rotten jug pilot back then ) I'd flip and flop the d-30 all over the place and she'd swoop by me , Laff and give me one of her Famous remarks compleate with a tease . Later on She would ussually email me a joke or something to make me feel better .
Gosh I'm gonna miss Her .
-

I'm so sorry to hear this news. I remember her saying she wasn't well but you kind of always expect everyone to make a full recovery.
Teriwyn would often teach me a few new words in Welsh (I only being half-Welsh) and I always found her friendly, helpful and very funny. What a sad loss to everyone.
RIP
Wynne, my thoughts go to you and your family.
-
It was with a heavy heart that I read about Teriwyns passing.
I can only agree in what the other Vikings have said about her - she was witty, always fun to talk to and kept spirits high in the squadron. As many others I was looking forward to her return to AH.
Wynne, my thoughts and condolences go out to you and your family.
Tittibit, you will always be remembered by the Vikings!

HIGH FLIGHT
Oh, I have slipped the surly bonds of earth,
And dance the clouds on laughter-silvered wings;
Sunward I've climbed, and joined the tumbling mirth,
Of sun-split clouds - and done a hundred things
You've never dreamed of - wheeled and soared and swung,
High in the sunlit silence. Hovering there,
I've chase the shouting winds along,
And flung my eager craft through footless halls of air.
Up, up the long, delirious, burning blue
I've topped the windswept heights with easy grace
Where never lark, nor ever eagle flew.
And, whilst with silent lifting mind I've trod
The high untrespassed sanctity of space
Put out my hand, and touch the face of God.

Go in peace Teri

she was one of a very few pilots i found a very personal virtual friendship with , in 2000 as i started to play this sim we flyed often alone in h2h together for hours , as she used the handle 3500 , we understanded each other in a very sensitive and personal way it was ever a great pleasure to fly with her i cant believe that she is gone , i miss her and will not forget her.
Ah, Sunflower! weary of time,
Who countest the steps of the sun,
Seeking after that sweet golden clime
Where the traveller's journey is done;
Where the youth pined away with desire
And the pale virgin shrouded in snow
Arise from their graves, and aspire
Where my Sunflower wishes to go.

As I am sure there will be people from all three countries wishing to be part of this, would it be possible to use a 2xx channel - maybe 241? - so that we can all contribute without having to change countries?
-
May I suggest the memorial flight takes place either well away from the frontlines in one country only or in another arena. Otherwise the dweebs will start shooting people down. If the memorial flight is done with 3 countries involved on a 2xx channel near a front line base then someone will spoil it.
-
Think Swoop is right there, Knit country and I wil make it as far away from the front line as possible.
Flossy we wil use channel 241 so other country can tune in, thx.
-
I think as long as someone spams each of the country channels about what is happening, most people are usually very cooperative and will ask to participate; however, your call. Appreciate the inter-country channel at least. :)

Air...very well done.
Wynne, I didn't know your sister. I never flew with or against her, although I recognize her handle(s). I've read this entire thread, and I must say I'm touched by the outpouring of sadness and condolences from her fellow simmers. She must have been someone very special, and my not knowing her is obviously my misfortune.
My prayers go to you and your family, and to Terriwyn's close friends.
