Unreal (http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story2&u=/ap/20041123/ap_on_re_us/severed_arms)
This is a sick world we live in sometimes.

Generally I'm against the use of Madame Guillotine but in this case I feel murderous.
-
An execution isn't murder.
-
The guillotine is to quick, to clean
Cut her arms off like she did to her daughter

She a mad dog and there's no need for retribution. Just put her down swiftly and let's move on. No one in their right mind does this crap.

"No one answered the door Monday night at the family's apartment in suburban Dallas. Children's bicycles rested near the entrance along with angel garden statues.
"
some idiot in the press wanted to talk to the family.
How do you feel about your momy cutting of your sisters arms?

I read the article,
Am at a total loss of words, beyond my comphrension. Wonder what type of world my children will grow up in.
I am embarassed to be a human after reading that.
-
Most cruel punishment would be cure her head and let her figure out what she did to her baby.
She'd cut her veins in a week.

Atleast you aren't a hamster. Mothers eat their own young.

stories like this, and seeing the outcry i think about the decline of society....
but at the same time games about killing the president are being made, and people actually defend them.
talk about double standards.
the only thing i can say is i am saddened truly by this story, and the direction our society is heading.

Right before I heard this story on the radio this morning I had just dropped my oldest son off for school and when I heard this I went home and hugged my littlest one. To hear about someone doing that was just too much. Plus the 911 tapes are said to have a hymn playing in the background on them when she called. People like that woman have no right to life or parenthood.

"The Schlosser case is the latest infamous case in recent years of Texas mothers accused of killing their children.
Andrea Yates of Houston drowned her five children, ages 6 months to 7 years, in the bathtub in 2001. She was convicted of capital murder in the deaths of three of the children and is serving a life sentence. The defense had said she suffered from schizophrenia and postpartum depression.
This year, Deanna Laney, 39, was acquitted of capital murder by reason of insanity after killing her sons, ages 8 and 6. A third son was injured. Psychiatrists said Laney, of New Chapel Hill, suffered from psychotic delusions that God told her to kill her children. She was committed to a mental hospital."
This kind of insanity all started when Texas banned dildos.

She had a history of postpartum depression. The recurrence rate of this is about 90%. She shoudl have never been allowed to have more children.
-
I had a lady defense attorney once tell me that some people are just born without souls. Stories like this make me wonder if she wasn't right
-
Good Ol' Christian family values.
Police found Schlosser sitting in her living room, covered in blood, a church hymn playing in the background.

Yup. They become defense attorneys.

Why does God let these kind of people have kids?
There should honestly be a test that everyone has take before they have a kid. If they're not capable of in any way (money, place of living, mental state), then they are denied.

She is insane. She does not deserve to be put to death, although it is tempting to feel that way given the horror of her actions. She should be placed in an institution where they can study her illness and perhaps learn how to prevent it or detect it earlier. Child Protective Services also needs to check if their investigation routines needs changing.
OK, if there's something to be gained by studying her, then study away. If not, put her down like you would any other problem animal.

Cripes, how long have you guys been on the internet? This stuff surprises and upsets you?
-
Clearly we need stronger knife control laws. I blame Ashcroft.
And Jesus.

I really don't understand why someone would like to see this stuff. You won't learn anything, and it will literally turn you stomach inside out. If it doesn't you are one sick scary man.

I wonder if stuff like this is really happening more and more or if the the tales just spread easier with all the news access we have today.
Regardless it's a horrible thing to have happened and I would love to see this woman pay for what she did......
Cougar
