Post by: Hawklore on November 23, 2004, 12:29:46 PM
Skuzzy It's getting out of hand, people are starting threads bashing a nation, and dishonoring those who have fought in war..

It's getting sick...

Get harsh on these A-holes...

I pissed about it, and I know it's difficult but sometimes you need to fight fire with fire...

Websters dictionary defines Genocide as,

Now, my dad said that I was running on a very very thin line, and I don't think that line is that thin, although there are definatly good denials of this, I belive, in the long run, thats what he is doing, wrong?

A poor attempt at a whine.  Replace the name "Skuzzy" with "Mommy" and it is more funny.

Bashing a religion that I am so called a part of...

It's one thing to know about something and bash it then another to assume and bash, and know little to nothing...

Look at the Crusades...

Perhaps you should look at things from both directions and not your one way look..

Wasn't the subject the bashing of a country ?

Why are you speaking of religion here ,isn't it an attempt to divert the thread ?

The Crusades were wars to free the Holy Lands from Islamic rule. The Crusades were no different than any other wars during that time period.

Hawklore it used to be perfectly acceptable, even encouraged to annihilate your opponents. Including the women, children, old etc.

After Caesar's campaign in Gaul he (Caesar) bragged that there were a million dead and a million more enslaved.

All wars are violent Hawklore, if they werent violent....it wouldnt be war.

No... I'm with ya because the bashing is the same 200 words rearanged into different orders, and I'm pretty sure now that  all possible combinations have finally been submited. Stick a fork in it.

Hey Nash, is it true Canada was named at a meeting where the founders just yelled out random letters?  "'C' eh,  'N' eh, 'D' eh"

That's what I heard.

First off you didn't free the French, the Allies did, forget your arrogance for just 2 seconds.

Second we fought to stop Germany from spreading there influence all over the Globe, including the Japanese...

One day you morons might wake-up and smell the coffee.

Prerequisites for belittling the educational development of others:

1.)  Ability to successfully combine the words 'it' and 'is' into a contraction (complete with an appropriately placed apostrophe).

2.) Proficiency in the spelling of the word 'trade'.

3.) Proficiency in the usage of commas.

Hawklore, you may well be a somewhat precocious 16-year-old... A bit of a goodie-good, perhaps, who strives for acknowledgement by creating pointless threads instead of simply emailing skuzzy with his specific complaints, but a precocious goodie-good nontheless. You'll do well in life, we're all sure(even tinpot, who has without a doubt benefitted immeasurably from such inventions as non-toxic glue, plastic safety scissors and household items that are too big to fit in his trachea). One day, you may even get that old Soviet machine gun.

Why do you want to single out the Crusades? War brings out the worst in people imo, no matter what their religious beliefs are.

Christians, as in the Crusaders were no different in war than any number of other people in war.
