Title: Need help Identifying this T-34
Post by: Kweassa on November 24, 2004, 03:12:29 AM
Recently finished a skin of a T-34/76, seemingly present around the winter war of the Stalingrad.

There were quite a few depictions of this very particular T-34, "Number 106", varying from winter camouflage to full markings with the insignia of the Guard Tank Regiments.

The numerous depictions of this particular tank suggests that its probably as well known as the famous, "Donskoi Kazakh"(25th GTR, 2nd Gaurds Mechanized Corps.) or the "Za Rodinu"(unidentified but very famous, presumed Separate Tank Regiment, Leningrad front '42)

The problem is, none of those pics had any kind of specific combat unit info mentioned in them, and I can't seem to find any information or background about this tank.

Could use some help from the real experts.
