I remember a documentary on the F-117 on Discovery Wings, where they were interviewing an Englishman (I think) involved with the project.  He was telling a story about how the USAF wanted a stealthy pantjob, and how he kept telling them pink was scientifically far superior to black as air camo, but for some reason the USAF refused to use pink for their new stealth fighter. :)
