I recently started playing around with the new Terrain editor. (never build any terrains before).

Worked my way through help file and found out how to place objects, edit them and the like, whats needed for three working countries and so on...

Noe ive come across an interesting problem with the terrain i created for trying out landscapes. I cant load it offline for some reason. no error messages when i load it, just when i go offline after, i get the old ndisles map.
i started up and h2h lan play with this terrain and it worked, my boyfriend even could join me. All three countries and fields working.
Does anyone know where the problem could be?

Help would be appreciated, thanks.


PS: my first test terrain works offline.

I had the same problem until someone told me to keep the terrain name to 8 characters or less.

Trying to rename the terrain somehow led to interesting results btw :rofl

Each and every file and folder must have the same name, except the texsrc folder if you have one.

dunno... copying the files and changing all names produced a water world with chaotic altitudes... :lol
