Literally.  Bring a good book to read.  Like any course it depends on the Instructor.  First time is interesting.  Re-Certifications get old.

I took some defensive driving courses once-upon-a-time when I was considering volunteering for a rescue squad.  It was a great class, and I learned alot.

15 years old just finished 3, 8 hour driver education classes boooooooring.  If it helps get your insurance down it could be worth it though.

When you're done, find out when/where the next local evolution level 1 autocross style course is, and take it.  Whether or not you intend to ever race your car, you'll find the course worthwhile and fun.

Good grades also keep insurance low.  That's my trick.

Oh, and not having a noodle.  That keeps it down.

Ripsnort,

Have you ever considered that you are weird?

Perhaps, outside of the 'norm'?

Idle questions.
