Golly, bloody timesheets are a pain in the ass..
Trying to track down one of mine from Oct.30th havn't gotten paid from it still..
And all the bloody numbers I have to put down, they expect me to memorize these and put them down every day I'm working..
-
Step 1: Pull your head out of your ass.
Step 2: Fill out your time sheet.
Step 3: Turn in your time sheet.
-
Geez, SOB - it's not THAT easy.. I mean, oh right.

Hate 'em.
Have to do 'em.
Hate 'em.

UGh!
I wish they would of just given me an E-card like most of the other staff..
Slide in, slide out, it's harder then those punch things...

Hate em.
Worked in one place that had it broken down into 5 minute increments.
-
and the "person who posts the most boring threads" award goes to.....
Hawklore!!!! congratulations!
-
It's even better here nash... 6 minute increments (works better for decimals). I don't know anyone that actually does that though. There's a handy little autofill button that does the trick nicely.
-
I do not know what is more pathetic, Hawklore not having any friends so he finds a need to post here to get attention, or that the community feels so sorry for his pathetic arse that we reply.
-
I actually reply because I don't have any friends either.
-
Want to be friends SOB? Nobody wants to be alone.

:D I thought sheep could count? otherwise I am friendless too...

I suppose they could, but they're always running away from me for some reason.
Sorry, SW, even lonely losers on Intardnet BBSes have standards.

Dont worry you will survive, I have so many job code numbers, task code numbers and phase numbers to remember I go crazy filling the thing out. Since I work for an archtecture firm every minute I work has to be billed to someone so I have to account for every minute of the 40 hour week. Then to add to the fun I have to know what phase the project is in, and what task the work is being coded as. I still have not filled out a time card right yet pisses the office manager off to no end.

We do six minute intrevals on job tickets here, and it's alot easier to keep track of.

I have to enter my time in three different systems. It is supposed to be 4 but I boycott the fourth.
timesheets are not a trivial matter.

Timesheets ? timesheets? Me I just turn up for work, hang around, hide from the boss awhile then go home. Then they pay me. Easy.

I work for a telecommunications company and we still use paper timesheets. Still don't understand why, when even our signatures are electronic, we still use them. Funniest part is we can email them but they still have to be printed on the other end.
-
I'm salaried, but I still do time sheets...bread and butter of accountants and laywers.
We do just have 15 minute increments though, so it isn't as bad as 5 or 6 minutes. Just don't phone me and expect a free call....I gotta plug my time somewhere.;)
