Title: problems with CH Fighterstick
Post by: mosgood on November 30, 2004, 02:59:05 PM
I can't get my stick to register in the joystick settings window or get any of the buttons to respond at all.

It appears in the joystick select window... the buttons just dont do anything but make the 3 colored lights change on the joystick.

Hmm... seems that the rudder isn't working either.

I haven't been on AH2 for about 6 months so... has there been a problem like this?

throttle works fine.....

I was able to use AH programming for CH stick, throttle and rudder pedals.  Just the usual time it takes assigning functions.  Make certain your hardware is recognized in windows, then make sure you're selecting the right piece when you try to map functions.

Whenever I have a problem with a CH product and contact tech support the first thing they tell me is to start Control Manager and check to see if your stick is calibrated and responds correctly.  I suggest you try that.

If all that checks out, then your stick mapping in AH2 has gone away (or never existed).  BTW, six months ago AH2 was not released.  That is most likely why you are seeing no mapping.  I don't think the settings and mapping can be ported from AH1 to AH2, but I never tried.

Malta

Stantond may have hit it.  If you downloaded AH2, you'll have to  remap your controls.

Mosgood.  I think you will have to download Control Manager from CH Products and then map your keys in AH II.   Wizer
